Eau Sauvage Parfun (100ml)

I like it and at this time it reminds me of Vétiver Oriental. First impressions only, though!

Today my bottle of Black Aoud by Montale arrived. The scent is wonderful and I'm happy to have it but since it's my first Montale I was shocked at the cheap plastic bottle. Considering the price I paid I was expecting more than something that looked like a five hour energy drink.

Plastic bottle? Is this new? I thought the material was aluminium. I'm all Prada Confusion d'Homme now. :-)

Sorry, I looked at it again and you're right, it is aluminium. I'm accustomed to Creeds and Cartiers bottles and Montales is somewhat underwhelming.

I just *knew* there had to be a reason it was selling so inexpensively on Amazon... Well, maybe at least I'll get a taste and if I like it enough I'll seek out the vintage stuff.

Looking in Boots today I saw Calvin Klein Obsession for Men on offer at £22 for 75ml, and I had £31 in points on my Boots card to spend, so...

Long-delayed... Three of my fave MPGs.

...And a blind buy since it was so ridiculously marked down.

Sampling this right now, Cuir Amethyste reminds me of Cuir Ottoman, Daim Blond, and a bit of CDG2. Apricot/osmanthus/violets over a "suede" type of leather. Feels more inky than leathery to me. Quite decent, but not really my cup of tea.
