Lets guess the next brands doing its first OUD

Now almost every brand has something with Oud.

From Kurkdjian to Calvin Klein, Acqua di Parma to Ferrari, passing by Dior, Caron, Lolita Lempicka, Xerjoff, Creed, Cartier, Guerlain, the list goes on and on.
Now there are a few that dont have its own Oud fragrance yet.

My Guess on the next ones:

Hugo Boss
Paco Rabanne
Carolina Herrera

Brands that i think that will NEVER do an Oud:

Tauer and Serge Lutens (words by its owners)
Chanel (I have doubts)
Thierry Mugler (last years i had certain that they would do but now...they had a lot of chances with the Pure line, then the taste, now the leather...)

Wouldn't surprise me if Czech & Speake have one in the works. They like releasing bold characterful scents.
Probably quicker easier to guess who won't do one!

I can't see the following doing one:
Penhaligons
Guerlain
Bvlgari
Paul Smith
Armani
Prada
Tauer

I think I would bust a gut from laughing my head off if I ever see "Dolce and Gabbana The One Oud For Men".lol

Guerlain already have one, exclusive to Dubai or something very special like that.

I agree, Prada won't do an oud perfume. They're very commited to their traditional values

Armani has one too: Oud Royal from the Armani Privé collection

I was thinking, Estée Lauder couldn't possibly do an oud, that seems so out of character. But they did! Their entry is called Wood Mystique. And if Lauder can do an oud, then all bets are off.

Ed Hardy - No Way Oud

Very interesting, wouldn't have thought it of them!

Of course they do; I forget about their private line! Must get round to sampling some of them.

This would be interesting to see how the master make a transparent perfume from oud.

both armani and guerlain have oud frags, in their 'exclusive' lines.

Issey Miyake Oudyssey d'Issey...

I'll get me coat...

I think Chanel will do one. They're too trendy to be left out.

Plus perfumes make excellent profit-sub-products. Chanel is anyways popular here, imagine releasing a oud to go with the Classic in Jumbo.

Does Chanel have an oud prominent scent out in the market?
I expect Theirry Mugler to have an A*Men Oud flanker shortly after the Leather release dies down.

If Acqua di Parma can jump into the Oud water, anyone can (and probably will).

The only ones I would actually be suprised with one would be:
Perry Ellis
Kenneth Cole

Frederic Malle Aoud would be interesting.

Serge Lutens, Thierry Mugler, Chanel, Prada, Britney Spears.

Czech & Speake might have been one of the very first western perfumeries to do so, in fact, outside of Montale that is. Their Dark Rose is a recognizable rose-oud, and it was done nearly a decade ago now.

I'm surprised Comme des Garcons haven't released one yet.

Wonderwood has 'oud', but I have not tried it yet.

The next brands doing its first OUD might be

- Serge Lutens --his sweet & spicy perfumes are great for oud

- Thierry Mugler --Introducing A*MEN Pure Oud

- Chanel --Frenchy oud for Les Exclusive would be lovely

Pure Oud is inevitable.
I could imagine that the house of Bvlgari might create an oud-scent and release it in their female fragrances range. I mean: If Acqua di Parma does, Bvlgari might as well follow. From my positive experiences with this house I would indeed look forward to such a creation! Something dark and sexy and kind of a successor to Jasmin Noir that made our ladies smell fantastic would be appreciated.

Well, Thierry Mugler can't make Pure Oud, since the name is already taken.

Pure Agarwood aka. Agar*MEN

O*MEN aka. Oud Men

Very funny creations. I guess they would have to reanimate some old pictures (the way Dior did with the »new« Alain Delon commercial), but Gregory Peck would do just fine in an advertisement for O*Men.

I'm guessing "Pure Fungus" "Pure Rot" or "A Taste of Fragrance: Mold Infection" wouldn't be top sellers

I don't think Rance will make anything with oud in it, and I'm pretty sure Annick Goutal won't, and haven't although I haven't looked over their lineup in a while so who can say. An oud-based scent by Escada would strike me as an oddity as well.

My guess is Kenzo won't do oud unless it's something really, really original. A Kenzo Oud seems to me against everything their perfumes stand for.

Etro, Penhaligon's - not so sure...
as for ELDO - I don't really think they have to. Won't change anything for them I guess.
But if they do, i really hope they add something ridiculous to it: ozonic notes, peaches, mojito accord, grass, paper, hair gel.

Lanvin ... It will probably end up smelling like Cool Water or some fruity floral with the faintest of agar wood lurking in the very basenotes.
Annick Goutal - Vapeur d'Aoud kkkkkkk

Certainly I could bet that TM will launch an oud flank of A*Men, and the others of its house since oud goes well with any kinds of scents.

It's a pity SL won't work with oud since he could do marvelous things with it.

Looks like it is Chopard with Oud Malaki.

He said that he had past decades working on a complete line but for some reason (maybe the new trend) he will not release the fragrances.
