Need a third fresh/daytime fragrance for my rotation

I'm trying to keep a small collection of 7 bottles, 3 of which will be fresh/daytime.

I currently have Versace Man Eau Fraiche, Allure Homme Sport and ADG. I used to love ADG, but this seems to have faded, and I seem to get awful projection/longevity from it now, my bottle is almost empty, so I want a replacement.

I want something that I like that projects, so I've narrowed it down to:

Moschino Forever - Tested this a while ago and really liked it, fresh and unique. Does anyone know what the projection/sillage is like with this one?

L'Eau D'Issey - Projection wouldn't be a problem! But I feel I already own too many 'common' scents and as nice as this is, ideally I want something a bit less popular which is just as good.

Chrome Legend - Not too popular in my area, but this would have to be a blind buy. I'm hearing good things all round, but would still be a risk.

What would you guys suggest from the above 3 options?

Thanks!

I did say "What would you guys suggest from the above 3 options?"

Tried Terre D'Hermes - hated it, same with Roadster and I owned L'Eau Par Kenzo and felt it was meh

+1. One of the best sharp zesty fragrances I own.

Moschino - Very good frags at a very good price.

A stand-out replacement for ADG is "Sel Marin by Heeley".

I hated Roadster too, I find Roadster Sport much more refreshing and easy to wear. From your list, my choice would be L'Eau D'Issey. Even if it's popular, rock it with confidence.

Yes, you cannot go wrong with Cartier Roadster Sport. Much better than Cartier Roadster. Also, I find Hanae Mori's HM, to be an excellent fresh, warm weather fragrance.

+1 Sel Marin.
Millesime Imperial.

I have HM but not that keen! Thanks guys.

Is original Roadster the minty one? Think that was the one I tried rather than sport

Oh and Creed MI is definitely...not for me

No mint in Roadster Sport: Bergamot, Mandarin, Orange blossom, Sage, Rosemary, Black pepper, Patchouli, Gaiac wood. Much more wearable IMO.

I'm convinced that half of the people who post here don't even read the threads. They just scan the titles and fire of names of fragrances. It's kind of unnerving. This thread is a perfect example.

From the 3 you mentioned I would choose Chrome Legend, although I prefer the original Chrome a lot more. As much flack as it gets here, it's still my favorite warm weather day fragrance.

L'Eau D'Issey popular for a reason.
Of the three, I'd go with Chrome Legend.

Yet another vote for Sel Marin. For smething cheaper but nonetheless outstanding, give a chance to Dirty by Lush.

Since we are limited to those 3 (none of which are really to my taste)...

I guess the Moschino by default as the other two are really, really bad, IMO.

I agree. Issey Miyake doesn't seem very creative in his fragrances. Anything by azzaro is outdated and bland.

Lol, People will always ignore your short list to suggest something else on their list.

With that being said I would suggest Chrome Legend... I hated L'Eau D'Issey and I have never smelled Moschino Forever.

PS. Go with Versace Pour Homme

I do Like Versace Pour Homme, very nice fragrance, but not convinced by the projection and longevity
post #22 of 31
Of those 3 options i'd choose Moschino Forever.

The projection and sillage could be better, but the scent itself is nice.

chrome or issey hands down

Guys are suggesting other, and in their opinion, better choices. I'm pretty sure most of them read and understood your post. I personally would not have any interest in the 3 that you mentioned.

At that point, its just deciding which one sucks the least :/

A lot of good suggestions. i'll throw in Prada Amber Pour Homme. I find it very clean and fresh, but more in a clean shower expensive soap fresh, not green, citrusy or aquatic fresh. Just another idea.

Duh... just realized you were asking about the 3 you listed. In that case, L'Eau D'Issey hands down, going away, by a long shot, etc. etc.

I know its supposed to be popular. I smell ADG all over the place and thus will never buy another bottle. Besides, for some reason it bugs me now. However, I rarely if ever smell L'Eau D'Issey out and about.

I literally am LOL at that comment. I read where you asked that, and then read where people started responding suggesting anything but what you were asking about. Don't feel bad...that's actually pretty standard in forums like this.

If you want a clean, yet powerful scent that projects and has good longevity and is suitable for summer wear....then Chrome Legend will fit that bill. I had both L'Eau D'Iseey and Chrome Legend....and kept Chrome Legend while selling my bottle of L'Eau D'Issey to a female friend to give to her husband....mainly because I not only like Legend better, but it has better projection and longevity for me between these two and isn't anywhere near as common as L'Eau D'Issey either.

Legend
I don't recommend any of the three but feel you should explore some samples.
L'Eau D'Issey is the best from the three listed....
