Similarity between Himalaya and Live Jazz?

I was testing some of my samples, and it suddenly struck me that Creed's Himalaya smells to my nose A LOT like YSL's Live Jazz, only without that faintly urinous early YSL note. Anybody else found similarities between these two?

I have bottles of both and they are very different to my nose and I cannot see any similarity. Maybe you are picking up a note from one that reminds you of the other but associations can be very subjective and personal.

They are completely different. One is spicy and the other is cold. If you like them both, a fragrance that smells like a hybrid of them is Chez bond. It carries that cool and spicy quality found in LJ and Himalaya.

Different to my nose also.

I own them both and find them completely different.

IMO not alike at all, either.

Only thing that I see that you might be picking up on is the ambergris. Both Live Jazz and Himalaya have it it in the base (although it isn't nearly as dominant as in many other ambergris scents).

Close to zero similarity IMO.

Not similar in any way.

Does Live Jazz really have ambergris? I thought ambergris was prohibitively expensive for "cheap" colognes, and at its price point, I'm surprised Live Jazz would use it. I don't detect it, but my nose isn't all that sensitive.
