There's been some very good games lately. I'm from Los Angeles, so I don't have an NFL team. I'm very selective about my sports teams (Lakers/Angels are the only teams that I'm passionate about, even though I like to see the Clippers/Dodgers/LA Kings do well) I won't root for a team until they bring one here to LA, which should be in 2-3 years. Until then, I'll watch the games objectively. Hopefully, the lure of this giant media market will cause competition and will enable our city to get a solid team.

I know, L.A...what's with teams coming and leaving from there? Weren't the Raiders and Rams there for a bit? More than once? That would be frustrating! At least the Kings won the cup last year for ya. I am more of a Canadiens fan...and I kinda like the Canucks.

I couldn't even watch the 4th quarter of the Bengals/Ravens game..poor Bengals. Were getting pwnd. lol.

Calilove-maybe foaming at the mouth could be a good thing, lol..determined to be SB champs lol..the foam alone may scare off any other competitors. I was thinking..what if this were later in the season, like the play-offs and there were bad calls? How much foam then? Lol.

big Cowboys fan here. I bought a new plasma TV to get ready for the season. Nice to watch them beat the Giants.
I think the Cowboys although not my favorite team, is going to take their division this season.

I have no faith in my team lol, even against the Lions. And by team I mean Alex Smith. But after the Packer game last week..a bit hopeful. Alex seemed focused. The D, good as usual. If 49ers win..my guess is 33 SF, 14 DL. If they lose..21 SF 24 DL. But I don't see DL scoring that many points against the D. Idk, guess we shall see.

It's half time of the Chiefs game. The Chiefs are asleep and I'm having the nightmare. This is horrible.

Gosh, that is horrible, sorry Shades. Maybe they will do some serious game changing in the later half. Chiefs were heavily favored I think too.

I wasn't too hopeful with Manning..though, I am not a Broncos fan. He looked choppy out there. He might need to get in sync with his new team though..get the feel of the players..blah blah blah.

Great win for the Giants!

Chiefs have a tough game with the Saints today ... both are 0-2 and looking for their first win. Could be brutal.

I remember when Len Dawson used to hook up with Otis Taylor regularly on long plays. They were unstoppable. Those were the glory day of the Chiefs.

Ya, Drew and Co. aren't doing too well this year. I like Brees, seems like a very cool guy. The Saints is one of those teams I am neutral on, I have quite a few of those.
Like the Saints also but doesn't look like their year. Too much team turmoil has caused distraction.

Yeah, it's been rough. Too many changes, too much drama. Just a shame though since they're hosting the super bowl this year and have an extremely talented group of guys. We'll see what happens....This season is gonna take a lot of turns for all the teams with all of this referee nonsense.

Horrible officiating.

The good news is that after Monday night's debacle, the real zebra's have all the leverage they need to be back at work come Sunday. Green Bay fans must be furious and they have every right to be. ESPN is going to run that footage into the ground and tomorrow morning every sports talk radio show will be saying the same thing. Shame on the NFL suits and owners who's pockets run so so deep and they not only won't pay the referee's, they also want to punish the fans by allowing such ridiculousness to take place. Shame on the NFL.

What's this I hear?? The refs end lock-out?? Finally! LOL..after that Packers/Seahawks game..couldn't be at a better time! I am no fan of the Packers but they got jipped in that last game, big time. The worst call I think I've ever seen. It was clearly an interception to me. Boy, I would be so mad if I were a Packers fan! lol.
Packers were robbed! I am not a big Green Bay fan but I am rabid about fair play.
lol i hate the packers i had to laugh a little...

Again last minute costly mistakes cost the Giants the game. They never seem to learn.

Poor Jets got owned by the 9ers. I am really glad my 9ers won but I do root for the Jets when they aren't playing the 9ers..I like a player or two on the Jets. I think the Jets could have let Tebow play more (as qb) in that last quarter. I mean they were shut out, I think that would've been a good time to see what he can do. They had nothing to lose, why not put your 2nd string in? Tebow made some good blocks but not sure why the Jets have him play so many positions.

Gotta say, Kaep played well today and a slide at the end was classy instead of taking the td.
Lots of great NCAA games, Louisville v Southern Miss in a monsoon, Ohio State barking all over Sparty, WV juggernaut Gino Smith lit up Baylor, UT v Ok St was a great game, Tenn almost barked on Georgia. Luv it.

Oh brother ... another long frustrating day for Chiefs fans. Defense played well, but turnovers and penalties killed the offense.

Will we see the Saints first win tonight? Perhaps.

5 for 5 on NFL picks for me, including taking the Jets plus 9.5 when everybody was saying Texans. I only wish I didn't have to play as conservatively as I did or I would've really pulled in big bank. But a win is a win and you'll never go broke cashing winners. Picks were Balti win, 49ers win, Pats win, Aint's win, Jets +9.5.

I don't see LV ever getting an NFL team, but you left two cities off the list I wouldn't doubt seeing Roger go for: Mexico City and London. Isn't London going to be the surrogate home to the Jaguars?

I inherited liking the Bills from my brother. It's nice, because no one really gets angry at you for liking the Bills, even if they won. If you like a big name team, like the Eagles or Patriots, you have hardened rivals. I've heard stories about intense fans even becoming violent, and I just think it's so hilarious and so silly. In fact, I was watching the superbowl a few years back with some Giants fans, and even a smile during an intense portion of the game had them upset with me (I wasn't even really paying attention to be honest). I'd like to avoid all that buffoonery. Speaking of the Patriots, I actually kind of like them. Why? Because their name sounds nice. It almost sounds regal. Completely ridiculous reasoning, but oh well. I'll watch a game, but I tend to lose interest. I do like to ask which games are worth watching every Sunday, since games with two good teams tend to be the ones that are most enjoyable (of course). I don't really watch games with the Bills for obvious reasons.

Aaron Rodgers sure is getting sacked A LOT this year, lol. Sorry to GB fans.

Ya, if 9ers fumble..I will just laugh cause that would be so bad.

Manning will do that to defenses once he figures them out...

dag nam it. This was in response to Pit/Den game comment.
