Searching for anything with the main note of champagne and your experience? Does it really smell like champagne?

Kenzo Flower has some of the spark of champagne, perhaps a fruity variety of champagne (there's a melon canteloupe note).

According to perfume critic Luca Turin, Kenzo Flower is derived from the old Royal Bain de Caron, now renamed Royal Bain de Champage, but the current version of the Caron is not good, whereas Flower still preserves the sweet sparkle of the original.

You might want to give a chance to both Bendelirious and Ambre Russe. Alternatively, for something more literlal, Champagne Brut by Demeter.

I do get a marginal champagne note even from Blenheim Bouquet by Penhaligons.

I've really got to crack open the bubbly and compare, cuz I don't understand the aldehyde = champagne reference. Vraie Blond smells like Must de Cartier (citrus, amber, musk) + Macassar to me. And a vanilla drydown. Projection is poor, but it's still on my wool overcoat sleeve with just three swipes (on my wrist) yesterday.

I also don't get why people smell "sugared almonds" unless they mean the vanilla. Etro Heliotrope is more marzipan to me.
