I agree. If there is a scent that makes you feel more confident, that would be my choice. If you wear a scent that you don't enjoy wearing (even if you think it may attract more females), your confidence level will be lower.
Have you ever noticed that when you have a great, pretty girlfriend, your confidence level goes up, which makes you mote attractive to other females.
Regarding pheromone cologne, we don't really have proof that that attracts females. In the 1980's a friend of mine sprayed a pheromone onto a kiosk. There were 2 keosks and the other one didn't get sprayed. He wanted to see if more females would use the one with pheromones. In his experiment the pheromones didn't work as females were using both kiosks and didn't seem to prefer one.
Keep in mind that this was in the 1980's and pheromone perfumes/colognes were in their infancy. Technology has likely improved the way that they get/extract/synthesize the pheromones. I don't know if there were any such studies with the new pheromone scents. I think most of the reviews on their sites are fake.
In theory, it could work. We had trouble with pantry moths and I bought some glue traps that came with pheromones to attract the moths. In this case the pheromones do work as soon as I set it up a bunch of these moths landed in the traps while other moths were flapping their wings and started dancing while their wings were flapping which is what they do to attract the opposite sex.
