Min New York

Hi,

When you order from Min, do you normally get to choose free samples? My BF ordered Xerjoff's discovery set for our anniversary and he told me he wasn't able to choose any. Min did include three random samples though which unfortunately I have already.

Dear Paul,

I'm Julien and I work at MiN New York.

When you order from MiN you are always entitled to free samples. You may ask for specific scents through the "Customer Comments" form when you order online. We will accommodate your request the best we can, provided we have the fragrances you selected in stock.
If there is no specific request for a sample, we normally include three samples in each package anyway. They are selected by our staff based on what the person ordered. Each order is packed individually, so on a busy day it may happen that one of our staff members forgets to include samples. I'm very sorry your boyfriend didn't receive anything, it is something that would not happen normally.
I hope this answers your question, and I hope you are both enjoying the Xerjoff Discovery Set. Be sure that you will get loads of great samples with your next order!
Thank you.

I can't say enough about what bad customer service you get when you order at MIN New York. They really need to improve their communications and get orders/shipping correct.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience.

I can tell you my experiences have been nothing short of tremendous. In the rare instance they are out of stock, I have received calls from Julian or Alejandro within 24 hours alerting me to the problem.

If in-stock, the order always shipped same or next day. To me they are only second to Luckyscent, which offers a more diverse choice in fragrances and have newer releases available before MiN in the same lines they offer.

I've ordered a sample pack from them before (although, I don't remember how I chose them) and everything went well. However, the last time I tried to figure out the sample setup, I called numerous times and sent an email, to no avail. Their phone system gives you numerous options, but not a single one took me to a live person. Yes, I called during business hours. Everything I've seen about MIN from the guys on YouTube is that they are very generous, so I believe that they are probably good people. However, the phone thing is a pet peeve of mine. Almost to the point of driving me mad. I was interested in ordering some of Kerosene's samples, but I think I'll take another route.

What does MiN stand for? (What I mean is, what does that abbreviation stand for? I'm new-ish, I don't know...)
