New YSL Rive Gauche Bottle?

i was at the counter of YSL, and i saw this new looking bottle of Rive Gauche Pour Homme, well we never had here the old Rive Gauche PH bottle, it never hit our country, my question is if the juice inside is the same juice from the old bottle? or it is not worth buying ?

I tried it and it is NOT the same juice. Not worth purchasing IMO.

The retailer Douglas also seems to sell it in this bottle, but I cannot judge yet whether the juice has changed.

They've apparently watered both this and M7 down. I honestly don't know why they discontinued either in the first place.

It's shame that another classic is ruined. In days to come people will be complaining how crap their bottle of Rive Gauche is and why all the good reviews. And those of us that remember and still have the good stuff will have to break it to them that it was once a great fragrance but alas no more.

It is NOT the same stuff, they have watered down and reformulated all the classics put them in 80ml bottles with 105 dollar price tags, which is highly idiotic IMO. You can easily find Rive Gauche the 125 ml for less than 30 dollars. Loreal has done a horrid job with the fragrances IMO.

This was gonna be on my purchase list probably in the next month or two. Looks like I'll be buying 2 tin bottles just in case I fall in love and they become rare as hell to find.

I find it sufficiently different from Azzaro to own both. In fact, I prefer it over Azzaro.

i just bought a backup bottle off fragnet

it's not the reformulation that bothers me. it's the change in bottle design as well as the change in price.
