Thanks! I only know 2 of this list, white and BC and those are in my top ten. I'll defintely sample the rest. I heard Vetiver 46 is almost exactly the same as cdg2man. Do you share this opinion?

An abacus?

Seriously though, there's definitely a similar 'theme' running through your favourites. My suggestions would be:

Tom Ford: Tom Ford Extreme
Creed: Spice and Wood
Chanel: Sycomore
The Different Company: Sel de Vetiver
Gucci: Gucci pour Homme
Le Labo: Vetiver 46
Montale: Red Vetyver
Hermes: Voyage d'Hermes
Frederic Malle: Bigarade Concentree

Edit: Sorry, just read that you have already tried Bigarade Concentree...

Bhiel MB03 comes to mind...

We have similar taste, it seems. You like many natural wood, spice, herbal, incense and citrus scents.

Potion (same vein as Lolita Lempicka PH and Body Kouros, sweet peppery wood with licorice and spice)
Vetiver Tonka (vetiver and coumarin, warm and natural)
Lonestar Memories (smoky tarry leather)
Yatagan (woody oriental, herbal with caraway and sage)
Halston Z-14 (resinous citrus)
Or Black (dark fougère, similar to Rive Gauche PH)
Monsieur de Givenchy (citrus chypre/cologne)
Monocle 1 Hinoki (virtual forest)

and I second Gucci Pour Homme (incense) Voyage d'Hermés and Monocle 2 Laurel.

Amouage Memoir Man
Dior Bois d'Argent
Ulrich Lang Nightscape

You should try at least one Serge Lutens - e.g. Fille en Aiguilles

Another great 'green' fragrance is Piper Nigrum by Lorenzo Villoresi.

Seems we have somewhat similar taste....but I need to try more...not that many fragrances available here.

Greetings Sir--- I'm totally new to this forum, and my question may be out of line for you....and I may not even find my way back to your answer, but I need some feedback and hope you'll help. I am female and generally prefer scents designed for men. I recently purchased a rather pricey Bois D'Orage at Barney's New York, after much anticipation and consideration. I had a tester for 6 months which I left in my office, and could smell it daily in anticipation of my next visit to New York. I purchased the larger bottle after much pomp and "testing" at the Malle Counter. Upon returning home, I wore the scent, and am VERY disappointed to find that it lasts on my skin about 2 hours, thereafter smelling very faint, if at all! In contrast, It lasts considerably longer on my clothes, fabric (or paper---hence the 6 month longevity of the Test paper in my office!).

My first thought was that the strength of the liquid in the purchased 3.4 os bottle is considerably less concentrated than the scent in the samples at Barneys. Is that possible, AND....if this happened, should I protest? I'm accustomed to the colognes i wear (especially at this cost!) lasting MUCH longer. What do you think? I'm interested in your take on this--- Michelle (erenaa@sbcglobal.net)

PS---I stopped by Dior in New York, and they have a few new scents for men that turned my head....am considering Bois D'Argent... I suggest you try that...have a wonderful day! M:}

Wow, actually everything you named has a lot of Iso E Super (a transparent, sharp cedar note) in it, except for Vetiver Extraordinaire (as far as I can tell).

Some other fragrances that also have a lot of Iso E Super are:

Poivre Samarcande
Escentric 01
Jaisalmer
Avignon
Encre Noire
Vetiver 46
Versace Eau Fraiche
Monocle Scent 01: Hinoki
Angeliques sous la Pluie
Grey Vetiver
Fierce
Jubilation XXV
Light Blue for Women
Timbuktu

More info on Iso E Super fragrances here

alfarom, did you mean Hindu Grass instead of Hindu Kush (by Profumo.it)? I'm curious because I've been meaning to try Hindu Grass, and if it has Iso E Super and some transparency, I have something to look forward to!

Funny thing it that as I glance down the thread , I see about 3 or 4 here already mentioned. My tip would be to pick the repeat entries and give them all a shot
