Good morning! I woke up in the wee hours and could not get back to sleep. No fragrance here yet, just the fresh, sweet, COOL air coming through the window with the sound of birds as the sun rises. I am too excited to sleep. I have a very good, optimistic feeling.

Happy Birthday ShadesofBleu!!

Wishing you much Joy on your special day, S.

Later...I'm trying a dab of Madini Indian Patchouli oil. It smells like pine-sol, cigar butts, an ancient hard-packed earth floor, a stable, a hint of peppermint and rose, unwashed armpit, and a whiff of sweet incense. I love it, but I know for certain that the Mister will not. He likes me in dainty florals with tuberose, not smelling of refuse from the crypt. It is drying down to a true smelling patchouli. I had forgotten that it smells like this.

Oooooh! Look at you!

I was in Voyager this morning and now in PG Bois Naufrage thanks to Danny. I like it but I could have done with more Bois and less Fig and Hazelnut? I seem to smell Hazelnut in a few PG's. Nothing wrong with that, but in this one I expected, well, as I said, more Bois!! It is nice though.

Have a nice day all and a very very Happy Birthday to both shadesofbleu and Indie Guy. Enjoy your day!!

Ain't it grand, Lilybelle? As Kiliwia and others have noted, theres been a wonderful change in the weather. But, we have no apples like my Minnesota neighbor. Not a single one, due to the roller coaster spring weather.

After several days of mastering challenges with hardware and software and installing a faucet and fixing a camera and attacking a MYSTERY PROJECT WHICH I WILL TELL YOU ABOUT IN 3 DAYS , I'm mentally spent! Just going to head outside, smelling of Fresh Mint Leaf and dig holes.

Wishing today and every day is a happy one for you, sweet Shades!

Happy birthday, Shades and Indie Guy!

It's Chergui for me today. Temps back up to the high 80s today and high 90s tomorrow. Summer's not letting go quite yet although the evenings are turning lovely and cool.

Ain't it grand ? - ain't it just !. Pleased to report a similar scenario here, with the heat of the weekend giving way to cool and showery weather. The gardens need it and so do I

Good afternoon fragrant friends. Driven myself to Meadowhall as its near work and I wanted to see how it would go. Went ok I think. Picked up some bits for Barcelona whilst there. Had to have a little test whilst there. SL Santal Majascule and Ambre Merveilles on my right and Nuit Etoile and Soir de Lune on my right. I'm liking the Hermes and SL a great deal especially the Hermes. It is however far too close to my much loved EL Amber Ylang Ylang

Oh no, ((cello)) - that's awful! Not a tennis injury, is it? Do rest up and feel better soon!

I had a lovely shower with Crabtree & Evelyn Iris soap, which smells lovely, and then I used some Jo Malone Red Roses bath oil as a body oil afterward, and it filled the upper floor of our house with scent. What is there about this JM Red Roses that I find so intoxicating? The oil is even better than the cologne, a sensuous treat for the skin and nose and mood.

Quarry, no apples! I'm so sorry.

Thank you everyone for the birthday greetings! It's been sort of a tough day until now ... next year I MUST remember not to be on call on my birthday.

SOMB (scent of my birthday) is my old friend, Angel. I came home to flowers, red velvet cake, a Jayhawk decorated cookie, and a Jayhawk football t-shirt. Life is good ...

hugs to all ...
