Aventus batch code location change? (I know I know... another Aventus thread..)

Bear with me.

A bottle of Aventus just got here, and I'm curious about something.

The batch code is on the back bottle of the bottle, not on the bottom side of the bottom like I've seen in (a) dif picture(s).

The batch code isn't a black ink color, but rather seemed etched in. Did they change the type and location of where the batch code goes on Aventus bottles?

Edit: Any of you have Aventus where the batch code is on the bottom lip at the back, but NOT the bottom of the bottle?

Could you please clarify what you mean by "back bottle of the bottle"?

I have seen the batch numbers placed in 2 different ways so far. 1) Etched on the bottom edge at the back of the bottle and 2) stamped in blank ink on the bottom of the bottle.

As it seems with Creed, they change little things so often...from box design, to interior cap colors (I had a GIT black cap with a gray interior piece, which Creed said they did because they ran out of matching pieces!), to batch number locations, to paint styles, and most annoyingly: batch variation (MI is one of the worst. Strong watermelon vs barely any watermelon note in some batches).

I might of got a good batch (Z01). The batch code is on the lip at the bottom of the bottle, at the back. But it's not on the bottom of the bottle as in underneath. The batch code might be fully visible if the bottle was sitting upright on a desk for example. It seemed etched (clear?), not black ink.

Yeah, this is where Creed puts the batch number. You'll be happy with Z01.

That's how it is with GIT. Wouldn't be surprised if they started that w/ Aventus. And yes, Z01 is a good batch.

It doesn't seem all that out of the ordinary to me. I guess what's inside the bottle is really what matters though.

Same location and batch code as mine.
