First fragnance for teen?

Hey!

I know there is lot of these posts, but I ask again now.

So, what would be good first fragnance for teenage boy aged 16? I have only used before anti-perspirants etc..

I have read about Acqua Di Gio so would that be good? and my mother have recommended CK obsession. But I really don't know about those. What I have heard Obsession isn't good for young people or?

I would like something that girls would like too on this age. Could you give some suggestions?

Thank you!

Thanks!

Should I buy Acqua de Gio EdT and/or also deodorant stick/deodorant bodyspray? Or what I should use with EdT?

obsession is imo for gentlemen over the age of 30. dont get aqua di gio! go for something more unique!!! stand out bro!!! for me personally (depending on your style an how comfortable you are) i would of loved to of know about dior homme at 16 but thats just me. maybe l instant de guirlan. you might hate it. ill even throw creed santal in there you can get it pretty cheap online if you look.

Acqua Di Gio for sure. Just buy the cologne forget about deodorant/body spray. When you do wear cologne never used strong scented deodorant(axe), use Right Guard Total Defense Gel.

CK obsession? Haven't try it in years but I remember it being a bit mature.

Acqua di Gio is a good choice. Just the EdT is fine, and don't spray too much! 3 sprays will be enough.

Sandflowers by Montale. If you go online you should be able to pick it up for about the same price as Aqua di Gio off the shelf, and it's much nicer and more distinctive though it's of roughly the same family of fragrance.

Another is Guerlain Homme. It's not their best, but for a younger guy it's a pretty cool scent.

Lastly I'd recommend Escada Moon Sparkle for men - I know the name is awful - but it smells great, good for a young guy. Girls will like it too.

Boss Bottled. ADG also is a good choice. At your age now, don't think too much about uniqueness.

Acqua di gio

If you want to take a chance and like sweet smelling scents, 1 million would be a good option.

I don't personally recommend AdG, but there are a lot of people out there that love it, so...

My first fragrance was Armani code, but I definitely would not recommend that for every day wear, more for special occasions or something.

This is coming from a college student (20)
-Replace AdG with Perry Ellis 360 Red. It's the same thing but a little stronger, lasts longer, projects better, and is 1/3 the price. I like to call it AdG with a bit of a kick.
-CK One Shock is another cheap one that smells great for your age
-Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce
-Bleu De Chanel - Safe and the ladies love it (trying to get my hands on a bottle now)
-Boss Bottled - Versatile to wear anytime, anywhere (also trying to get my hands on a bottle of this)
-Nautica Voyage, cheap and smells nice
-YSL - L'Homme (definitely safe, I would take this over AdG/PE Red)

Most of the above are safe everyday scents.

For dates, try these

-Thierry Mugler Pure Malt (bit on the pricey side)
-Diesel Fuel for Life (just a fun night out with your lady, not a special place type scent)
-Givenchy Play Intense (night out with the lady, or friends)
-Vera Wang Men (love this one)
-La Nuit De L'Homme (may be a little "older" but I can see you wearing it. This is MY TOP NIGHT OUT/DATE scent, after Pure Malt)

AdG is a good first cologne. Also check out Azzaro Chrome.

I recommend you to try Aqua di Gio Essenza, I find it actually more subtle than the original one, great bottle too.
If you have access to it check out Lime Basil Mandarin by Jo Malone it's a great one and never too much.
here Katie Puckrick's Fumefinder for more ideas: http://www.fumehead.com/m/#/m/fragra...s/teenageguys/

Look, it's never too late to have a unique signature scent. It's true that Aqua di Gio will not be that common for a teenager, but after a little while, you'll feel like you need something different. I recommend Secretions Magnifique.

Just wanted to throw in Diesel Plus Plus. It's inexpensive and smells really nice. Fresh meets gourmand

Live Jazz

Cheap, inoffensive and smells fantastic. Another plus is nobody your age will be wearing it.

+1 on Live Jazz, just recommended it on another thread as well.

Also Chanel Bleu is a great everyday scent as well, and La Nuit de L'Homme or 1 Million for night outs.

My standard recommendation for a teenager's first fragrance is Halston I-12. It's cheap, smells good and fresh, isn't a vile aquatic, and isn't what every other teenager is wearing (while not smelling obviously old school).

Very solid picks here...& +1 for Love & Luck & Chrome.
