Which are your must-have scents for summer rotation?

I am in little trouble. I enjoy more dense scents to the point that when summer begins i miss some more easy to wear scents. On the other side, i tend to dislike aquatic, marine and many citrus scents. Looking for some cheap ones i was thinking adding some of these>> Moschino Uomo, Live Jazz, Yatagan, Nautica voyage. I also want to get away of the generic smell of cheap colognes, if possible. Cheers!

Try a good Vetiver or a Citrus Chypre (which will be as much about Oakmoss as it is about Citrus, trust me). To find examples of these, search is you friend, there are many threads on both these topics.

I agree with your thoughts of Uomo? Moschino by Moschino and Live Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent, although the latter may be too citrusy for you.

And, try:

Lanvin L'Homme Sport by Lanvin - a clean and fresh, slightly spicy, musky and woody fragrance that is an all-season scent, and will work in the summer.

&

Oxygene Homme by Lanvin - a peppery, airy and woody fragrance that is an all-season scent, and will work in the summer.

For me, a Summer just isn't a Summer, without:
Eau Maximum
Bvlgari pH Extreme
Live Jazz
Unforgivable
Nautica Voyage
Blue Seduction
IZOD <-- need another bottle

ironically, enough for every day of the week, as I did this all Summer

Thumbs up for Live Jazz it really works well when the weather is hot. It opens up refreshing with lemon and grapefruit mixed in with mint that carrys you through the day for many hours and then it drys down to a woody vanille scent.

Your the only person I've ever seen mention Nickel Eau Maximum. Replaced SMW in my collection because it has that same tea note, but seems a little more dirtied up. Here's my list:

Nickel Eau Maximum
Lalique White
Ferre Bergamotto Marino
Lush Dirty
Hugh Parson's Blue and Yellow
Bath and Body Works Indian Vetiver

I love Eau Maximum, its been in my collection for years, I am on my second bottle. It smells almost identical to L'Eau de L'Artisan, which is 15 times the price.

Spring is already here and Summer is just around the corner in the southern hemisphere. My rotation will be:

Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche
Chanel Bleu de Chanel
Creed Millesime Imperial/Silver Mountain Water/Aventus
Frapin L'Humaniste
HEELEY Sel Marin

And whatever other summery scents I acquire before then.

Any of all of these are helpful with keeping summer refreshing.

Kenzo Air - dry vetiver with anise
Angelique Sous La Pluie by Ed. Frederic Malle - angelica and vetiver
Untitled L' Eau by Maison Martin Margiella - white musk and dry green grass notes
Escentric 02 - ambroxin
Azemour by Parfum d' Empire - orange notes and green notes.
Extract of Limes Cologne by Geo. Trumper
Oolong Infiniti by Atelier Cologne
Silver Musk by Nasomatto

I don't really have a rotation since my sum total of bottles is 4, but I'll probably wear MI, SMW, Aventus, and perhaps a few others next summer (a full year from now) when my collection grows. I know, I know, lots of Creed...but it's what I like.

This summer I wore Hanae Mori HM almost exclusively, until I got my sample of Aventus...which, come on, it's Aventus.

Now that summer is over here I can say that anything in my collection worked fine.

From the ones you've mentioned I like Live Jazz and Yatagan best. Not sure if I'd see Yatagan as a summer scent specifically but it can be worn of course. I still enjoy Moschino Uomo? sometimes but it's just a good scent. Liked Nautica Voyage at first but tired of it rather quickly, wouldn't recommend it, esp as you say you don't want aquatic, generic scents.
Basically my all-year rotation, just with gourmands and Orientals less frequently worn.
Their is really only one scent that I must have for the summer. That scent is Aventus. All others fail in comparison.

live jazz and nautica voyage are okay at best; don't wear a scent just because it's cheap

Platinum Egoiste
Green Irish Tweed
Nautica Voyage
Mugler Cologne
Bulgari Aqua Marine
Millesime Imperial
No lie, I do wear Nautica Voyage MAINLY because it's cheap.
What's getting added to my summer rotation (I live in California, 365 days of summer here): Boss Bottled, Nautica Voyage, Fierce, Light Blue, Perry Ellis Red

Well I guess that narrows the selections.
