Does anyone else do this?

I was just reading a thread in the Male Fragrance "room" about CdG Wonderwood - and immediately opened another browser window, went to Luckyscent, and had to stop myself from buying it right then and there. In hindsight, I realise that at least half of my fragrance purchases have been done like this.

Why'd ya stop? Wonderwood is a hella nice frag.

I have been known to impulsively buy every now and then.

Sometimes, but only when it comes to cheapish frags . I would read the reviews here and on other sites first though and search for further threads about it, etc. Last one was Roger & Gallet's Open but it didn't arrive yet.

Beast is right, "WonderWood" is an amazing and a scent I'd beliieve most purchase without regret or remorse.

However, to answer your question, the answer is yes, all the timel. I allow myself to be sold SO EASILY you'd think I couldn't smell for myself!

Ha, yes, I most definitely "look them up" at Luckyscent, but usually manage to not purchase. We should change our habits to "looking them up" and then go to the sample page I finally started doing this, and have saved a lot of grief over unloved bottles.

And what is your rate of success?

What I try to do to minimize impulse buying is write the name of the fragrance on a list and then give it a day or a week or so and see if I still want it.

You gotta fight the urge.

Hype = Urge = Regret

I know that feel bro. Usually, I'll go to fragrantica and look up the notes, see some reviews, come back here and look at reviews, and then tie my hands together to avoid buying it.
