Who's the best new fragrance reviewer?

Let's promote some new fragrance reviewers who may not be well known.

On YouTube ? I'm really enjoying dracdoc's content. A little more concise compared to Marc (robes08) and at the same time, you get the same amount of information if not more. You can tell he's putting in the hard yards.

Edit: My bad, he is well known. Didn't read it properly.

On YouTube I enjoy Marc, Genstrev, the fragrance Bros., Fumerie Hilair, Pfalzgreven aka Le Gran Duc, and a few others. However, their are now many new reviewers who don't have experience and do not present in depth reviews. They sort of repeat what has already been said.

My favorite newer fragrance reviewer is Franchizzy. He's down to earth and seems like a cool dude.

Foetidus, Pluran, and dollar&scents.

+1 Dollars&Scents. I may have very different taste and disagree with his verdict on a lot of his reviews, but I admire his brilliant writing style and way with words. I always enjoy reading his take on a scent, agree or disagree.

Cody (DracDoc)...and one white dude with loads of tattoos in indonesia (he's really good too)

Depends what you are looking for. There are some flamboyant over-the-top reviewers who can be entertaining but just jump on whatever band wagon and endorse popular frags. There are some very concise quiet reviewers who get the job done quickly. That is who I tend to watch/read.

One of BN's own, Forfreddie. Amazing talent for one so young. Check out his fragrance blog, Smellythoughts.

I tend to listen to the guys who answer simple questions. What does the frag smell like? How does it perform? ..etc..etc. Some will talk for 10 min without even giving that simple info. However its all pretty entertaining. Also love the sidebar rants on designer vs niche, perfect size collection, and random thoughts about the state of the community.

I couldn't agree more, Freddie is a ton of fun to read. Regardless of whether I agree with his opinion, his nose is spot on.

Thanks Possum!

I have no idea where Saddle Warmer is... I believe it was going to Scotland? Or somewhere else in the US? I'll dig up the thread again soon.

Forfreddie and Alfarom - I don't do flowery write ups, they leave me cold. These guys are to the point and in my experience tend to be spot on...
