Bohren & Der Club of Gore "Zeigefinger" from the Album "Geisterfaust", 'cause it's so f**king slow and heavy!

That Maya Jane Coles podcast is still heavy on rotation. But taking a break from it to check out...

Bedrock 14 by John Digweed

Some dirty techno on this. Wish it was mixed instead of unmixed, but there's some nice gems. Especially the remix of Quarry Bank by Jemmy.

Lilybelle, I absolutely loved the live version of that song!!! Would you mind if I posted it over on Fragrantica?

Me too! Of course I don't mind. It isn't mine to mind about. Enjoy.

Passover has been a favorite ever since I caught wind of The Black Angels when I saw them on tour with Black Mountain, of which I've met the members of at parties quite a few times over the years. This album (In The Future) is also a favorite of mine - and not just because of the hometown bias, it's great. The girl's voice is powerful but in person she's such a shy and quiet person, love it.

Oh cool, this is the only Black Mountain album I own. I'll be honest, I kinda wrote The Black Angels off at first, and I'm glad I gave them the second chance 'cause I really came around on 'em.

Hadn't heard this before, reminds of some Mr. Bungle, which is a hard trick to pull off.

Holy Sh*t this is good. Kranky never disappoints. Was on heavy rotation on the weekend.

I've been listening to two tracks from this album today, I got them free of of Amazon. They are really good, I probably will be getting the album soon. Of the two 'Container Ships' (below) is my favorite.

I forgot that he was one of the curators (along with Irisarri from The Sight Below) for 'Air Texture Volume II', that ambient compilation I've been listening to recently. What a coincidence!
