Dior Fahrenheit- Question about box

Thread Starter
Hello all,

I discovered basenotes recently after becoming interested in fragrance. I have read many threads and reviews, and have become more enthralled with the world of male fragrance than I ever thought possible. I made my first ebay purchase (A 1.7 ounce bottle of Dior Fahrenheit). The seller had many transactions (about 2500) and had almost 100% positive reviews. The packaged arrived and everything appeared to be legitimate, right down the the dark grey/black nozzle. I have a decant, and to my nose they smell the exact same. My only question pertains to the bottom of the box. There is a barcode inside a white box on the very bottom of the box, and it is printed at a slight angle. I was just curious if anyone that has a bottle of the same juice could let me know if his/her box has a barcode like this on the bottom?

Thanks for your help!

Chris

I bought a bottle from Macy's and it has the bar code on it as well. It's been years since I last used this stuff. I remember it vividly and recall it had a nice lingering scent about it. This time around, though, it doesn't seem the same. It doesn't have the punch it used to and seems to fade away after an hour of spraying. I recall years ago this stuff would last from morning until night, sometimes until the next day. I wonder what happened.

I picked up a bottle from Walmart for $40 and had the same experience. It faded within a couple of hours. I love the smell but the projection and longevity were disappointing.

After doing some research, this thread explains everything.
