Close Encounter in Seattle

Thread Starter
Been lurking around here for years and finally decided to officially join and post. I'm flying to Seattle to visit a friend in a little over a week. I'm looking for some recommendations for colder climates. I've been going through my collection to figure out what to take with me. I own New Haarlem and I've heard it's great in cooler weather but she works at one of the coffee shops there and I don't really want to smell like her job. I've also recently bought Dior Homme Intense (new one unfortunately), He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood and Midnight in Paris EDP to possibly take. I need a new bottle of Allure Pour Homme, so that could go as well. Out of what I have at the moment, I'm looking at the following:

Kristiansand NY- Makes me smell like a sexy ass man-baby.
Mandarina Duck Black- Just seems right for cooler weather
Pure Malt/Havane- Not sure which one between the two.
Midnight In Paris- Awwww yeeaaa.

Open to designer and niche suggestions. I've also got most of my wardrobe in my profile so you know what I'm working with.

The MIP is definitely going. It hasn't come yet, though. Found the EDP on Amazon for like $45, which seemed too good to be true, but I ordered it anyway. Hopefully, it's the real deal.

As long as you order from reliable sources on Amazon, you should be fine. I've never had a problem.

You should take Pure Malt also and something "fresh" also, like your Kiton Black, Virgin Island water, Aventus. Its nice to break up the heavy frags every so often even in cool damp weather.

are you looking to buy more before you go also?

I don't really know that I have time to buy more before I leave. But I did plan on going to a couple places up there after I got off the plane. I'm always looking for new scents.

It was through Amazon from a site called Tuccini. They had pretty positive feedback (around 95-96% I think). That price just didn't seem right for the EDP, though. If it is, great. If it's just the EDT, I'd still be happy.

Tuccini is legit. I got my Costume National 21 from them.

BTW, Mandarina Duck Black is awesome. I will be getting a bottle as soon as I come into a bit more $$$$

Nordstrom in Seattle is fantastic, they have the Chanel Les Exclusifs range, right there in the store. The fragrance and beauty department is massive. I go every time i go down there. Love it

And a great Lush store, lest we forget

I live in Seattle.... The Nordstrom is amazing, the Barney's does suck, and if you want to get super niche you can go to Nasreen Downtown or Essenza in Fremont. I like Malle, Amouages and Guerlains...They work in the cool weather and light drizzle
