This being my first autumn as a perfume-wearer, I am already awed at the difference season/weather makes. Perfumed lotions become very appealing to enrich now more wearable intense scents. With the winter months coming, here are some burning emollient questions!:
1.How do you use your scented lotions: alone or with the matching perfume or with contrasting scents?
2. Which brands or specific scents have you found very good, "true to perfume?"
3. Were any perfumed lotions a disappointment and why?
4. Why are so many perfumed lotions glittery or shimmery? Does this also bother anyone else?
5. For any expensive or difficult to find scents: is the lotion almost as good as the fragrance as a stand-alone or replacement?
6. Do you know of any perfumed lotion or creme that is better than wearing the perfume?
Some specific lotions about which I am curious:
Theorema (it's glittery, ack)
original Fendi
Guerlain body cremes
Piguet lotions
"Now it places the lotion in the basket."

Blergh!
Can a non-southern person explain? Not trying to start anything, I just find that interesting.
