I picked a 3.3 oz of Kanon Norwegian Wood from Marshall today... for $6.99 i blind bought it. Because of the few positive review.. Turns out to be a synthetic headache inducing mess... i get no sandalwood like many have claimed... i burn pure sandalwod chips so i know how sandalwood smells like... this stuff smells like Le Male on crack to me.... i cant provide a grade for this mess.... it's un-gradable..

I gave up on these "cheapos" more than a year ago. The ingredient quality is just too sub-standard for me.

The only thing good about Kanon Norwegian Wood is the bottle design

Agreed.....This stuff is def not worth the 6.99 price. I may pay 2.99 for it but just maybe.

Le Male on crack? Is that a good thing, or bad thing? All kidding aside, I had a feeling that it wouldn't be a good fragrance, hence my avoidance of it for a good year. The good news is, you could probably return it.

Agreed: horror-show. I don't detect anything resembling a plant or animal of any type. It reminds me of labcoats, industrial laundry facilities, and factory backalleys.

I bought this last week on an impulse when I spotted it at Ross. I think it's ok, but the dry down is much better. It wears very close to the skin in that stage. The opening is a bit loud, with a strange aquatic note that one wouldn't normally associate with wood.
