The best "Run of the mill" fragrance ?

So I'm sure most of the frag heads out there have heard the phrase "run of the mill" when referring to a fragrance that just resembles most of the other fragrances out there, and doesn't really stand out as something amazingly special.

My question is, in your opinion what do you think is the best run of the mill fragrance ?
I'll kick things off and say Chanel Allure Homme Sport. It isn't amazing, but in comparison to the fragrances which are in the same genre, I think it is top of the range.

YSL L'homme

Armani Mania often gets overshadowed by Code, but it is a great fragrance. Kenneth Cole Reaction is light, but there is something about it that brings me back.

Rochas Man stands out for me as a good affordable run of the mill frag.

Another one I thought of is Curve by Liz Claiborne, maybe even Perry Ellis 360 Red.

Guerlain Homme

or Bleu de Chanel

I would have to say Kenneth Cole Black and Kenneth Cole Reaction both go to the top of my "run of the mill" list. I love both of these. I also very much enjoy OPs choice of Chanel Allure Homme Sport. It is a great refreshing long lasting summer fragrance.

That stuff is ridiculous! $15 a bottle at Ross and holy cow does it fetch compliments. And since it's over a decade past its heyday, I never smell it on anyone anymore. I own lots of scents I prefer (GphII, Aventus, Bv Black, etc) but nothing brings me compliments from women like Curve. Only Liz Claiborne could create a scent that performs SO well yet ends up in the bargain bin. Idiots.

I wonder what Run Of The Mill means here? Some of the scents above are excellent. AdG gets hated on here because it's popular, and I know it's not supposedly cool to admit that a popular scent can be excellent, but AdG really is.

Aqua Quorum for sure!

It has "copied" a little from Cool Water, Eternity and Polo Sport but lasts longer than those three, is 3x cheaper than all of those and smells great imo!

Since PDB never gets much love, I'll give it a +1 as I still like it.

L'Homme is definitely one. It smells excellent, but in all honesty, it's just another "go to" fragrance.

"Best" and "run of the mill" to me don't go hand and hand. Something that is generic and does not distinguish itself is hardly deserving of "best." So my answer is "none."
