2012 Two-Week Challenge

Hey all:

Two-week business trip coming up for next week and the week after. I'd like to repeat the two-week challenge I did last year:
http://www.basenotes.net/threads/293...nge?highlight=

At least this time, I'm not writing this post from the airport. Have a look at my wardrobe, and suggest something I can wear for two weeks straight. Yes, I know I can bring decants/more than one with me - but Rive Gauche was such a winner last year all by itself.

Additional criteria - good for day/evening; going to Paris and Frankfurt. Going to be locked in a conf. room for much of this, although there may be some chance for a little fun in the evenings. I'm checking a bag so I don't need to worry about size for carry-on.

I'm leaving on Sunday - thanks in advance for the input.

You have a few that could be worn for two weeks straight:

Gucci Pour Homme II
Tom Ford Extreme
Sycomore
Egoiste
AdP Colonia
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver

I would never want to wear the same thing every day, but if I had to, these would probably be at the top of my list from your wardrobe.

...Acqua di Parma Colonia Intensa suits any man at any occasion...!

Sycomore seems to me perfect both for all day office meetings (fresh, pleasant) and for evenings (some deep woods).

Burberry London for Men

Chanel pour Monsieur Concentree

After a quick glance, I'd take a shot at any of these:
GpHII
Visit
Tom Ford Extreme
Seqouia
Creed Aventus!
I'd also be deciding between GPHII and Tom Ford Extreme.

From my wardrobe, I'd chose Penhaligon's Opus 1870, probably.

Dolce and Gabbana pour Homme

My choices would be . . .

Acqua di Parma Colonia
Tom Ford Grey Vetiver
Tom Ford Extreme

Cheers . . . Wally

You're one of the few to have Mark Birley for Men in you wardrobe. Take that one, it will serve you good.

I'll give votes to:
Burberry London
Gucci Pour Homme II
Egoiste
Sycomore

I'd take either Egoiste, Habit Rouge, or Rive Gauche. You did RG before, and the other 2 are maybe a bit less versatile, but I've worn both for all occasions and I think they would suit.

sycamo' fo' sho'!

Either Habit rouge or guerlain Vetiver would be my picks

Sycomore or Tom Ford Extreme would be my pick.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. As of right now (Wednesday afternoon) I'm contemplating Sycomore, or maybe both Tom Fords (Extreme and GV). I'll post the "winner" when I really decide.

Colonia or Black Walnut

I loves me some GphII. I'm wearing it today, in fact, but I'd vote for Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver.

Black Walnut! I hadn't even thought of it as a contender, but it might be just the thing.

OK, so trying this today. Not really making the cut, sad to say. It's nice enough, but just that. I always think of BW as the inferior Burberry London, but that's me.

The winner is: Burberry London
