your best orange parfume

i am considering to buy Maharanih Intense, casue i find it so beautiful orange...
but did not smell many of parfumes that have orange as predominant theme!
closest to that i have is Aqua allegoria Pamplelune...which is grapefruit, and am not looking for that type of scent now...something more sophisticated and not synthetic

many thanks!

Bigarade concentree

TdH, AdG or 1mill is what most'd say.

Personaly I find some Orange in Duel from Annick Goutal, though I'm not really sure that it is there.
I don't have many orange frags so it'd either be Nautica Sunset Voyage or Rocawear 9IX
post #5 of 57
+1 Bigarade Concentree
+1 Terre d'Hermes

Cologne Bigarade
Concentree d'Orange Verte
Declaration
Essenza di Zegna

My husband likes Orange Sanguine by Atelier.
Xerjoff Kobe (even if the dry down is a little wanting).
In addition to other suggestions, Jaguar for men (original, green bottle) has orange notes in the top amongst a bunch of green notes and spices, and a nice leathery/tobacco drydown. Moderate projection, decent longevity, inexpensive, nice scent and very masculine.

Terre d'Hermès

For me, Sweet Redemption is like oranges and cream and is fairly linear and nice

+2. Love the orange. A cheaper alternative will be Cartier Declaration

It's been a long time since I've smelled it but I remember Clinique's Happy for Men as being a nice simple orange frag
post #13 of 57
Crown Imperial by Crown Perfumery if you can find it still (as it has been discontinued). If not, then Oranges and Lemons Say the Bells of St. Clement's by Heeley.
John Varvatos Artisan
Clinique Happy Men
TdH
I'm King of the Night by Sean John
I'll second both Bigarade Concentree and Orange & Lemons Say...I'll also add:

Entre Naranjos
Eau D'Ikar
If this may qualify as an orange perfume: L'Erbolario Neroli.
I dislike Bigarade Concentree intensely, as it smells too much like body odor to me.
Terre d'Hermes is a flinty orange which I wear occasionally, but don't love.

On the other hand, Concentree d'Orange Verte is just about the most perfect scent there is, orange or otherwise.
Orange Sanguine +1

Real stuff, with killer longevity and sillage
post #19 of 57
Hermes- Concentrée verte
Chanel - Allure sport eau extreme

Bergamote 22 -- citrus fragrance that does not have the bathroom cleaner / lysol vibe.
Guerlain's Cologne du Parfumeur has a splendid orange-blossom opening indeed. Last week, I sprayed a little on ten minutes before boarding a tram; a woman (standing room only) leaned backwards to smell it until she fell over and I had to catch her. No, I didn't make that up! A rare reaction, of the type few things I've worn have received. Unfortunately, I don't think I like it enough myself to buy it, even if the positive association of that incident made it briefly tempting. But the orange-blossom note of the first twenty minutes is very good.

Fleurs Et Feuilles D'Oranger by Gallimard
post #23 of 57
Terre D'Hermes technically....having said that, Orange Sanguine is the best orange smell on a perfume (unfortunately it's very weak)
+1 on Hermes Concentree d'Orange Verte and Orange Sanguine. Typical of citrus scents, don't expect them to hang around...

Hey guys thank you very much!!,I see terre de hermes is like the most mentioned here but i dont like it:-(, i may buy it as deodorant though!

Other suggestions are very nice, but many of them hard to find , this will be something that will occupy me next months ,the summer is over but somehow i want to have oranges on my neck hehe:-)

Thank u very much, hope this helps someone else too

Orange sanguine sounds like something i would like :-) , and bigarade c.
Orange Sanguine is a great realistic orange in the opening and it dries down to a soft pleasant smell, with minimal projection and longetivity.. which I find not a bad thing for this sort of scent, which I prefer to wear in the mornings.

Tauer's Orange Star is another one, and it is quite bizarre. Definitely orange, but it has a plastic/rubber smell that seems to keep morphing. An interesting scent, but not something I would purchase.
Cheap and simple for me when it comes to orange. Clinique Happy and Chanel Allure Homme Sport.
Creed's Jardins d'Amalafi...kinda of a tart orange to my nose...realy an amazing fragrance...
+5 Concentré d'Orange Verte. The Eau is nice too but incredibly short-lived.
Bigarade Concentree ( I assume we're talking Frederick Malle here)
Hermes D'Orange Verte

Ya know, the Chanel didn't come to mind for me initially, but there definitely is an underlying nice orange note in Extreme. It's perfectly subtle & just peaks its head from time to time.
Not sure if this was mentioned but GFT by trumpers has great citrus and yes orange in it and I think its a more grown up adg and I like i more personally
post #37 of 57
My favorite right now is Azemour Les Orangers
post #38 of 57
Dare I say Neroli Portofino or Creed's Neroli Savage?
Agree with the following for a "pure" orange fragrance:
Concentree d'Orange Verte
Bigarade Concentree
Atelier Orange Sanguine
Terre d'Hermes
Blu Mediterraneo Capri Orange by Acqua di Parma is a juicy, sweet orange, and it has become my favourite orange scent. I like Azemour Les Orangers a lot, so if you are looking for a salty-bitter orange you should try it, but for a simple and refreshing hit of fruit I think Capri Orange is a better choice.
i won't lie, citrus conversations bore me to pieces. After doing a quick once-over, I'd say Le Labo Bergamote 22 is my most desired of everything mentioned so far. Parfum d’Empire Azemour Les Orangers is mentionable. Creed Jardin d'Amalfi can go suck an egg.
+ 20 for Bigarade Concentree, love the stuff!!
Also a big thumbs up for Bond no 9 Little Italy!!

yes mee too!! i just avoided citrus smelss, the only i had is aqua alegoria pamplelune, but now discovered orange can be very nice if nicely done! and something different from usual notes (lemon is much more present then orange , so was very much surprised by my reaction
....Azemour Les Orangers is another one to try then...
Blu Mediterraneo Capri Orange by Acqua di Parma i think this could be nice too!!
thank you very very much for lovely suggestions! i will try them all

i was wearing Maharanih intense yesterday and one guy told me i smell of india incense sticks? is it that how is called? and i smell just orange there hehehe
post #45 of 57
And another for Frederic Malle Bigarade Concentree.

+ another for Cartier Declaration - although the oranges aren't that fresh

The TdH deodorant is excellent! (and so is the shower gel)
I only have one orange based fragrance: Orange Sanguine. It´s simple but I love it.

In the other hand, I love the orange in Terre d´Hermés, Idole and Mona di Orio´s Vanille.
Since nobody mentions it, here I come: Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza - I find it has a very nice (if candy-like) orange note that matches perfectly the patchouli drydown. Definitely worth a sample, imho.

It's slowly becoming a favourite of mine! It really is a master piece, but like Terre d' Hermes, I don't get any orange from it - just grapefruit!!

Hermes Terre d'Hermes Parfum
Chanel Allure Homme Sport
Clinique Happy

Feu d'Orange Intense by L'Occitane

As others have said, for 'pure' orange I'll echo Orange Sanguine - Atelier. But I've never really wanted to smell like pure oranges.

I think my favorite use of orange, though, is in Aftelier's Oud Louban.

Orange Sangiune. Someone here on the message boards had once said that Orange Sanguine is like taking ice cold orange juice and spilling it on your skin.
Got a good one for ya! Check out Altamir by Ted Lapidus. The orange blossom is very good. The price is very resonable (Around $25). But don't let that fool ya!
No such thing as a good orange Frag....rub orange peel on you....get better results
