Best "Cold night" or nighttime wardrobe Scent that turns heads...

Thread Starter
The scene is a cold fall night, formal, and the wardrobe is a nice long, wool or heavy jacket. Its not raining, but it is indeed chili, and a cold night, maybe in a nice metropolitan city.

What fragrance are you going to wear to get noticed, but in a head-turning way? Try to stick to mainstream please :]

Prada Amber ph Intense.

Mainstream ? I'd probably go with La Nuit De L'homme and Dior Homme Intense.

Tom Ford Extreme

Egoiste Cologne Concentree

A solid dose of Burberry London would be my 1st choice if we're staying mainstrem. Prada Amber pour Homme might also work because it's formal.

Tom Ford Extreme, bt Kilian Incense Oud, or Bond No. 9 New York Amber.

mainstream, though??? I mean, I agree (& you're choices are solid), there's far more Niche or high-end options for this scenario, but I guess I was thinking a more reasonably priced designer when he said mainstream.

London would also be my suggestion. It's very popular but unique in scent. Most people notice it right away.

The scenario conjured up Cuir Mauresque for me but I see there is a mainstream caveat, so I don't know, .... say Antaeus.

Burberry London for Men by Burberry cries out for the cold so it may manifest all its glory.
Heritage, Egoiste, A*Men Pure Havane, or Habit Rouge EdP would work.

As others mentioned, LIDGPHEE, Dior Homme (regular or intense), and Eau Sauvage Parfum would fit the bill too.

Add another vote to the following:

Regular Egoiste (not the platinum) by Chanel
Original A*Men / Angel for Men or A*Men Pure Havane by Thierry Mugler
Vintage M7 by YSL
L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme (even the regular would work) by Guerlain

Versace Man

Errrr... Going mainstream is wayyyyy too limiting! :/ This is Basenotes remember!

Okay... well... My vote goes to YSL Opium pour Homme. Just imagine walking from the cold street into a warm bar at midnight, unbuttoning your jacket to hang it up, and the warm, smooth spicy scent wafting out as an attractive young waitress (or waiter if you are so inclined) comes to take your coat...

It's still a classic.

Mainstream? I would say DHI... Overall I would go with Musc Ravageur or my new love Noir de Noir.

I almost cried tears of joy when I looked outside, saw the fog, took a step out, and finally felt COLD weather. Frag season is back gentlemen!

My choice for this topic is of course Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male, but since no one wants to hear me say Le Male over and over again, I'm going to go with La Nuit de L'homme.

Must de Cartier Pour Homme.

Not quite what you'd call cold where I am, but I completely agree. I really love it when the weather cools off. Now, or at least soon, I get to indulge in the sweet, rich, syrupy goodness of Cartier Must Pour Homme, Gaultier 2, Givenchy Pi, Bulgari Black, Spiritueuse Double Vanille, Tonka Imperiale, La Nuit, all the really good stuff. After six months of citrus and greens, I'm so ready for the sweet, heavy stuff. It's just awesome.

Another vote for Dior Homme Intense.

But if I really wanted to turn heads I would probably wear something a little more old school and daring like Chanel Antaeus or Aramis Havana.

Based strictly on my experiences: Gucci Envy for Men.
