Vintage Fracas

I'm looking to buy some pure parfum and wanted to know what people thought of these:

Gennuine do you think? Why so cheap? Can anyone date them based on the style of the bottle?

They appear vintage, but I would be leary of both of them being frauds just because of the fact they have multiple bottles to sell of both. Where would two different people get multiple bottles to sell if they weren't frauds? I would try to stick to used vintage bottles to limit fraud which is so rampant on eBay. Good Luck!

I'm not familiar with the bottle history of Fracas. But I wouldn't be so negative. Fracas is still around and in excellent state, so there's less interest in vintage, and in any case it never had the collectors desirability of Guerlains and Chanels. In addition, minis are always discounted relative to regular bottles. Occasional bad deals are inevitable on ebay, but the price is so low that I think it's worth risking if you are really interested.

Is there anywhere else apart from ebay that sells the vintage parfum?

I have a mini of Fracas that looks exactly like the pics. I picked it up at an antique store. Smells fabulous.

I have a mini Fracas that looks like these, and it does smell amazing, but make sure the price is worth the risk if it turns out to be fake juice. Some things worth a bit of a gamble!

I recently bought a bottle like this off of ebay from a seller in the US.

I think it is real. I have a Fracas sample that I obtained from http://www.perfume-worldwide.com/ an online perfume seller that also sells $3 samples of their fragrances so that you can "try before you buy".

The ebay bottle smells like the Perfume-worldwide sample. The ebay parfum is a little creamier and the Perfume-worldwide edp a little more sugary but they are the same scent.

I did buy a bottle of counterfeit Chanel No 5 off of ebay once and after that I did my research on counterfeit fragrances. Counterfeiters generally only counterfeit popular sellers in full size bottles (3.4 ounces or 100 ml).

Generally mini's, samples and gift sets are genuine.
