What is your favorite time of the year for fragrances?

For me, it is Winter and Fall/Autumn.
I just love the dark, woody, boozy, creamy type of fragrances.

Easily fall and winter. I love "colder" weather fragrances.

Right now. Fall is the best IMO

Spring/Summer as I hate the cold but love the warm months.

Likewise. The scents I can more easily wear in these seasons are far more complex and interesting.

Summer. I love the extra silage I get from fragrances.

Fall and Spring. I love the seasons of change. I especially love the fall, when I get to start wearing darker scents again, but I guarantee I'll be excited to pull out my lighter stuff again on a warm spring day.

Every day that I am blessed to see the light of day.

Summer here is rather hot. Even in Spring most 'Spring' fragrances present problems. Once upon a time for me almost half the year was a dull time for fragrances. Aside from Guerlain's Vetiver, Eau de Hadrian, Annick Goutal's Vetiver, and a few others there were very few scents I could wear in hot weather which I really loved. Things seem to be changing now though. Partly because I'm becoming less concerned about the seasons and wearing what I want when I want, but also because I've found a number of very nice summer scents which suit me well, and have many more lined up to try.

In other words I'm not sure I could pick. Is getting to enjoy your reliable favourites better than the excitement of discovery? Both have their charms.

Fall

Fall. I can get away with some fresh scents, and can finally wear the gourmands!

Pretty much all of them, as the climate where I live changes quite a bit through all 4 seasons & it's nice to enjoy the variety. Can't say the bitter heart of winter here is something I enjoy, however. I could easily do without that.

fall/winter cause most of the stuff I dig is the heavier stuff

Fall for me. Less allergies due to pollen being lower and when it's too cold you won't be able to smell anything.

All of the above!

Fall/Winter as Thailand is usually hellish hot. The colder months is the only time I can where my heavy stuffs without very of offending people.

In general, this my order of preference: fall, early winter, spring, early summer.

Not a fan of: extreme weather (snow, heat wave), and the allergy season.

For me, the answer is as plain and unimaginative, as direct:

Anytime is fragrance time and fragrance time is anytime.

A few years ago, I still tended to select, organize, separate, group, classify, categorize my scents according to time of the year, time of the day, season, weather conditions etc., but since I live in a pretty much moderate climate zone and I can wear anything I like on most professional (even more so than on personal occasions, since I work mainly from my home office), my fragrance choices, fragrance wardrobe etc. have become quite whimsical, reckless, eclectic, uncommon, almost unrelated to any time of the year, season, weather etc. Thus, pretty much anytime of the year is my favorite for wearing any type of fragrance, as long as I can wear whatever I like.

Fall/winter

summer/autumn....becasue my nose works the best then!! and can notice beauty in scents that seem pale during the winter (No.18 , 28 La Pausa etc).....but i have the biggest urge for perfumes during the winter time for sure!!, maybe for me its big compensation thing for lack of light/sun

I agree, and they allow for more scent flipping between seasonal types.

As with clothing and style-- Fall is best for fragrances. Just to name two that burst out with glorious richness in the cool air: Givenchy Gentleman and Caraceni 1913 are fantastic this time of year. Winter is ok too, but really cold weather is not perfect for fragrances as one is bundled up and sometimes buildings are over heated, right now all is perfect. Fragrance lovers, I think, can't wait for Fall to step out with the really good stuff!

Fall without a doubt. Everything seems to explode and feel deeper and richer this time of year.
winter, but winter here is not same as the winters in the northern states.
Definitely autumn and winter as my most preferred ones perform better in colder weather conditions...
