What L'Artisan frags would you want sample if you had never sampled any of them?

Hello BN's!

I am going to write L'Artisan for a few samples, but I dont know what would be essential frags, new frags or unisex to ask for. What would you recommend?

Timbuktu is always a safe bet.

Based on your wardrobe, I would suggest you try Dzongkha, Timbuktu, Navagar, Merchant Loup. Perhaps Dzing!, if you'd like something really different. You might also like Patchouli Patch & Passage d'Enfer.

+1 on Timbuktu... I'll add my personal favorite that gets no love on Basenotes, Coeur de Vetiver Sacre which is stunning.

I asked for Coeur de Vétiver Sacré, Traversée du Bosphore, Al Ouhd and L'Eau d'Ambre. Do those sound good? Now let's see if they actually send them!

Every single one of them. The least successful L'Artisan Parfumeur is ultimately much better than a lot of other perfumes.

But I'd start with in no particular order:
Timbuktu
Dzongkha
Traversee du Bosphore
Seville a'Laube
Iris Pallida
Nuit de Tubereuse
Al Oudh
Fou d'Absinthe

Definitly Iris Pallida (discontinued, sic!) and Safran Troublant.

Voleur de roses. I have a dried up sample vial and it smells like moist, rotting rose petals that are caked together with leaves. I know the fresh stuff wont be exactly like that but it made me want to buy it.

Coeur de Vétiver Sacré,

Oh, and Piment Brulant. Cinnamon, pimento, chili peppers and rich chocolate. Great scent, I don't think I could pull it off, too warm and chocolatey for me. Might make a good winter fragrance. Well made though...
