Amouage Reflection Man and New Haarlem. Can't go wrong with either of these. New Haarlem on a night out, Reflection Man for more intimate settings.

It's weird b/c I really don't like Bond no. 9 as a House...But I own New York Amber, and I get stopped every time I wear it as told that it smells nice...

I have worn Aventus a lot and never ever received a compliment. My girlfriend, who doesn't like it, told me it smelled like pine trees and smoke. Oddly enough, my most complimented niche by far is Royal Oud. Maybe it just works on my skin well, while Aventus does not. I've also never received a compliment from GIT.

Doesn't surprise me...Creed tends not to last long, and only has fair projection. I get compliments from cheap dept. store frags just as much as I do from Niche. Only compliments I get from GIT is people who say "Ummmm. I like Cool Water!"

Creed Silver Mountain Water by far.

I haven't gotten a compliment on Aventus yet except that it smells powdery (which i don't get).

Before I got my Aventus I made sure to get a good batch, and mine has little trouble with sillage and longevity. I started getting anxious about not getting any compliments and I applied heavily a couple times. The only comments I received were "You smell strong." I prefer MI and RO.

MR numb 1 for last few years

after this one

Lumiere Noir

Interesting thing , Aventus is far from being the most complimented frag on me, can be some hemistry with my skin... Can't find that WOW affect on me with this one.
