Smell alike? May be? An SA was adamant that they were very similar, and said it didn't make sense to buy both.
Update: I looked through my collection and realized that I own Witness. Taking a whiff of it as I write this

Not to me and I have both.

Witness is a powerhouse from the old school...I wear it on occasions, but can't answer the starter's question because I haven't smelled AzzaroPHI.

I have both and think like you.

I own both as well and they are not identical imo. Witness has that more 'dated' smell.
Azzaro PHI is also way stronger than Witness imo, which is strong as well but only for 30 mins while Azzaro PHI keeps on going!
Mind that I am talking about the vintage version of Azzaro PHI which is very very strong and makes the original Azzaro ph even look like a weak fragrance!

Was the Sales Associate hot???? If so, go back and ask if you can take them to lunch (or dinner) while you are wearing Witness on one arm and Azzaro Pour Homme Intense on your other arm. Get close, and tell them to sniff away and discuss the differences.

I'll let you take it from there...

They are clueless - but, you can try to make lemonade out of lemons. Have fun with it!

Cheers,

Same here. I am not too sure i detect cinnamon in ApHI, and Witness is mostly about cinnamon.

When one goes into note(s) differences this is definitely a significant difference indeed between these frags.

I've sent you a couple messages that you've seemingly ignored. Have some common courtesy and at least respond.

To quote De Niro in Taxi Driver: "Are you talking to me"?

(as I do not have any message from you)

Sorry, no. My post was for the OP (thread creator).

No offense, but how is this a topic?

You can't even put these two in the same realm of scent.

Nice quote, Slayerized! LOL!

Mr. Blonde (from Reservoir Dogs): "Boy that was really exciting. I bet you're a big Lee Marvin fan aren't ya. Yeah me too. I love that guy. My heart's beatin' so fast I'm about to have a heart attack."
