What is your #1 head turning scent?

What is your #1 head turning scent? That just makes someone turn around and want to know what you're wearing.

I would have to say MI or D&G Ph

Tabac Blond extrait. A diva of a perfume, to say the least.

Lately it's been Uomo? Moschino.

Thats what I was going to ask as I have had some pretty negative head turner experiences unfortunately in my many years of wearing scents. I've had positive and negative responses to Versace The Dreamer just as an example.

MI is for sure a head turner that garner positive responses, same with Aventus, GIT, and several other creeds (I'm a fanboy, sue me, haha). Probably my best head turners though are Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Ambre Narguile

My most negative fragrance is Musc Ravageur and before the fans of the fragrance jump all over me, I personally don't think it smells bad at all, but to casual observers its not the most "appreciated" scent I suppose.

In a both positive and negative sense (alternatively and as different, separate opinions): Fendi Uomo, Cerutti 1881 Amber, Chevignon Brand, Drakkar Noir, Chanel Antaeus (this one being even compared to an "old lady smell", wow, then old ladies must be really butch, yet stylishly luxurious too).

In an overwhelmingly and/or entirely positive sense of the word: two of the "extremes" in my wardrobe - in terms of costs, availability, exclusiveness - Avon Black Suede Touch at one end, Knize Ten at the other end of the spectrum, plus some designer scents in between these extremes, like Boss Bottled or Gucci Envy for Men.

Briefly: the first category will almost certainly get me either a compliment or a disapproval, while the second category was a "straight A" performer in the compliments, but not only compliments, also positive comments, questions, inquiries, curiosities, interactions etc. department.

I would say the Creeds - GIT, MI and more recently Aventus. However, I dont wear Aventus for two reasons. One, wife does not get it and prefers the other two. Secondly, and even more importantly, though others swear it is just as projecting as GIT is on me, I CAN NOT SMELL IT, and so, I am deprived of its affect. Since I can't smell it, no use in buying it in my eyes

+1 for Aventus.

Without a doubt, Aventus.

I recently bought Musc Ravageur. I like it a lot but can definitely understand why other people might appreciate it less. The clove note can be pretty off putting... Nevertheless I think it will gather less negative comments when compared to Black Aoud.

Aventus just recently at Octoberfest... "I can't take it anymore... You smell amazing, what is that?"

By Man everytime I wear it... "good god, you smell good, I've never smelled anything like that" is the common dialogue.

Either Black Aoud or Jean Patou Prive.

Straight to Heaven.

I've gotten more compliments on that one than all the others in my collection combined.

Oh yeah - of course, Aventus.

Not that I like it all that much, but it gets attention and its a crowd pleaser. If your main motivation for wearing perfume is to get noticed, you need to have Aventus in your arsenal.

I don't want to praise a certain fragrance, but Hypnotic Poison gets noticed a lot when I wear it (also - only positive comments). The second best thing from my collection is Antaeus (but it also gets negative comments).
The cheap Black Suede Touch is worth mentioning too.

MOLECULE 01

I wear this almost every day and I get asked what I am wearing very rarely, but without fail, when I am asked, it's when I am wearing M01. On the other hand, I gave my sister a bottle of M01 for her B-day this year and she gets asked/complimented at least a couple times a week! (I guess women and men tend to compliment and comment on the scent of a woman more than the scent of a man? Clearly women compliment other women on their "cute outfit" or whatever constantly, whereas guys do not do this. Long story short... M01 gets the compliments.

Aventus, Bleu de Chanel

I actually just realized that if those around me can smell D&G The One, they tend to like it a lot. Not too many people wear it here.
However, regardless of how many times they have smelled it, AdG still ends up getting more attention

i had sprayed a pesticide at home to get rid of bugs. The next day when i went to my office everyone was turning towards me. I was surprised to see the attention i was getting. Later i realised it was the smell of pesticide on my clothes that attracted them in a negative way .
For me it has always been Terre d' Hermes and most recently the Parfum concentration.

In the past though AdP Colonia original was also a head-turner.

Sigh...freakin' Aventus. I wish it were not so, but it is. People love it. I think it's good, but not that great. Oh, well. I WISH I COULD SMELL IT BETTER!!! There, I feel better.

Yep, Musc Ravageur...
A negative turn of the head

I thought the title was about what turns *our* head, and came fully prepared to say Gucci Rush, the femme, but Oh, not what the thread is about.

Encre Noire works for me.

I don't get unsolicited compliments from strangers, but those around me seems to comment favorably when I wear Hypnotic Poison and Creed Windsor.
