So I made something before I joined, and I love wearing it. Its sillage is fantastic, and it projects in wafts throughout the day.
Okay, here it is. Super simple but I like it.

Texas Cedarwood essential oil mixed with a synthetic Peppermint (aromatherapy bottle.)

Should I add some alcohol or anything to execute this better?

Are you wearing that neat??? Doesn't it burn a bit?

Aromatherapy use would have you wearing that at a 10% dilution. Perfume is only 20% ish and a super strong extrait only 40%.

I would say yes for your skins sake unless you have it on a hanky, cotton wool or clothing.

I am wearing it without alcohol. I figured since the peppermint is not an EO that it kind of is diluting the cedarwood. I have oily skin if that makes a difference, but no, it does not irritate my skin.

I would say the cedarwood EO is about 35% of the solution...

Each to their own, but I suppose in favour of diluting it, then it would last much longer.

Everclear is illegal in CA. Can you use denatured alcohol for fragrances?

Cancel my last. I just found a thread explaining everything...

Fractionated coconut oil is a good fragrance base if you don't mind oils.
