Your most used or most recently discovered fragrance in 2012

Given that we are coming towards the end of 2012, I thought it would be fun to tell the world what our most popular fragrances in 2012 were.

I'll leave it up to you to define 'popular' but for me I'm going to mention those that I either discovered in 2012 or used the most throughout the year.

Definitely two worth mentioning for me that I had sampled in the past but never actually owned are:

Creed Millesime Imperial
and
Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza

Both very good scents that I will be buying again. One for summer; the other for colder months.

I have also used Creed Aventus quite a bit this year since getting a 2011 batch (bought on 2nd January, so definitely a 2012 fragrance!!)

For me not one that stands out as being more used than any other. They all seem to more or less share equal time in wear.

Most recently discovered: Une Voix Noire.
Most worn so far in 2012:
6x: Mona di Orio Ambre, Equistrius, No. 5 Eau Premiere, Mona di Orio Vanille, La Chasse aux Papillons

Encre Noire, far out!

- Most worn: I think Revillon R! (an excellent 'fresh fougere' created by Maurice Roucel) Used almost 50ml of it this summer.
- Recently discovered: Cartier Declaration (a superb fresh-spicy fragrance!)

I'll go with the 2012 release of Allure Homme Sport eau Extreme. While I definitely have a few others that I appreciate more, I really like this one and it was a great discovery for me. It's my go-to "utility" player and my "when in doubt" fragrance. I'm very happy I found it and was able to add it to my collection.

Some really good suggestions from all respondents so far!

Most used is Giorgio for Men. Most recently discovered is probably what I try daily since I am always sampling but my greatest discovery this year so far is my favorite scent, Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle (even though it was released in 2010).
I made 2 major purchases this year, and they're both pretty stellar: Invasion Barbare and Kobe.

Guess Seductive Blue! Underated Frag!
I'm getting fonder and fonder of two fragrances I used to consider minor releases in the HdP's range: 1876 and 1825. That said, my most worn scents, are always Knize Ten, Sous Le Vent and a bunch of CDG's.

Well...you're both in LA!
My most used was, and almost always is, Chanel Bois d'Iles followed by Coromandel.
My favorite discovery this year, but a 2008 release, was Heeley Cuir Pleine Fleur. A wonderful soft leather which I am considering a bottle of.

It's amazing what conclusions you can draw by spending some time to think about your scents like this. I'm already using this to decide on some of my purchases early in 2013.

I have recently re-discovered Gucci Pour Homme. I have missed this so. It takes me back to the 'Man' fragrances of the 80's and 90's. So well blended. I adore it. So unfortunate that Gucci decided to discontinue this one.

My most recent pick ups that I was previously unfamiliar with were Kinski and Divine L'Homme Sage. I'm thinking both are going to see some action in the upcoming seasons. Also, I should throw Wonderwood in there and I'm trying to decide Terre EDT & EDP and thinking about Voyage and Rien. All of a sudden I have a to-buy list.

My most worn for the whole year is probably Cartier Roadster. In august I bought Bleu de Chanel, and since then it has been my most worn scent. My best discovery was Prada Amber pour homme Intense edp. I bought a new unused tester on craigslist for $20. This is the type of scent I have been looking for. It is exceptionally masculine, strong, long lasting, and is perfect for the cold weather that is looming.
...most surprising discovery this year: Guerlain Homme l'Eau Boisée...!
Most popular for me of late Creed Vetiver '48. Always feel centered with this one.

Recent discovery Idole de Lubin. Wears lightly and that may be a good thing for me at this point. Fearing with so many heavy hitters in my wardrobe, I'm becoming "cologne guy" at work.
Most used: Gucci Pour Homme (2003). Love it! GphII is a close 2nd place.
(Re)Discovered: Blvgari Black. I'd mistakenly written it off a long time ago.
Currently sampling (possible buy): Bond No. 9: Andy Warhol. I wish it was a tiny bit more masculine.

My discovery of 2012 was Bulgari's Omnia Crystalline. Here in Texas, one has to be careful with their fragrance choices when it's 100F. For example, I wear the original Miss Dior almost daily in the cooler months, but rarely in the summer. But Omnia Crystalline - suggested to me by a Sephora associate who had asked me what other fragrances I like - holds up to hot weather without getting rank. At work, it practically has its own fan club. My female colleagues seem especially keen on it.
Most used in 2012 - Acqua di Parma Colonia, Le 3me Homme, and Giorgio Beverly Hills V.I.P. Special Reserve.

Discovered in 2012 - Finally got a hold of Uomo? Moschino and vintage Van Cleef & Arples pour Homme. Love both.

Most worn in 2012: Macassar

Most used: Mugler Cologne. The hot summer here lent itself very well to the fragrance (and I depleted a bottle of Mugler Cologne shower gel in the process). The runner-ups go to 1 Million (yes, I know this gets panned on here, but I find it incredibly versatile) and Straight to Heaven (I've made this my reference work fragrance thanks to compliments from one of my coworkers.)

Most recently discovered: Encre Noire. How the heck did this one slip past my nose for so long? And at the price I paid ($33.30 for 1.7 ounces), it was an absolute steal. Before that, it was Aramis (I was surprised that I didn't like this with my love of leather chypres like Giorgio Red, John Varvatos Vintage, and PdN New York) and Fahrenheit (I was truly amazed at how much I loved this enduring yet polarizing classic).
