Sung Homme - forgot how decent this was

Found my bottle of Sung Homme hiding in the back of my wardrobe. Was in the mood for something a little different today, so I decided to wear it. I forgot what a decent scent this is. Soapy floral with a woody drydown, and it projects pretty well. I think that I paid $15 for this 100ML bottle at Marshalls. This is a very good fragrance, especially for the money.

Any others still wearing this stuff?

Yes, I still wear this scent, and still think it magnificent.

It has never been liked much around here, since way back when Basenotes started - but there has always been a very tiny group of fans.

Since Sung Homme has been made for an ultra tiny group of people who can appreciate it, I like to think of it as a real niche scent (unlike all those other niches scents that have huge minorities that buy them).

I own it and like it! Very fresh and soapy but still with that masculine woody smell usuable all year around!
Good sillage and longlasting! Quality to price is just excellent!

Yes, love this.
I too had forgotten about it completely. I had a friend who used to rave about it, but I was never that enthusiastic about it, that is until recently.
I had a bottle of the shower gel and took it to the beach with me to use in the beach side showers after swimming. Lying on the beach the smell of the shower gel was really intensive and beautiful. I am defintitely going to look for the edt and deo stick.
It is definitely a synthetic fragrance, but done extremely well, as was Boss Spirit and Boss no 1.

Wow - that's five and a half fans!

Sung Homme's popularity is surging. The most we've had at any one time in the past (from memory) was around four fans.

I much prefer its less chemical cousin, Prada Amber Pour homme. Tried to get on board with this one but when it comes down to it, PA is far better IMO.

Sung Homme was a regular in my wardrobe about 15 years ago. Wear two sprays and it's pretty nice. Modern day equivalent is Bond No. 9 Hamptons.

Soap on a rope. Not bad, though. Dig the purple bottle. Kind of Black Sabbath. I spray some up in the air every once in a while and wear it occasionally.

The stuff really isn't bad. Just don't use much and you'll probably smell great.

What is the appropriate use of Sung Homme actually?
I bought it a few weeks ago so I wonder how many sprays and where? (I normally spray/use my frags liberally when possible)
I'd say 2 on each side of the neck, one on chest (or two?!) and one on each arm?
Anyone?

Sung Homme by Alfred Sung is a decent, manly, fresh and soapy scent, with very good projection and longevity. Just be easy on the trigger.

I did one on the chest and one on the back of my neck. I still smell it on my chest: 24 hours later. I might start bringing this one back into my rotation. Very soapy.

This purple monstrosity is the Jacques Bogart of late 80's "sporty soapy clean musky" scents. Sung homme takes only the clean aspects of kouros and orange spice, and marries them with the industrial floor cleaners and waxes favored in government buildings.

I've always liked it, oddly enough.
