Please Recommend for best three men gardenia perfumes

I am not sure about the classification thing, but my top four are

Michael Storer Stephanie
Tom Ford Velvet Gardenia
Guerlain Cruel Gardenia
JAR Jardenia

Micallef Gardenia

I also second JAR Jardenia, an intense, realistic gardenia with the proper mushroom note. Regrettably $$$$, and only available in Paris and NYC. Perhaps not exaclty gardenia, but similar in feel, is Les Nez intensely luscious Manoumalia.

I have high hopes for Lutens Une Voix Noire, but have not smelled it yet.

@ thebeck - Thanks for the heads up, will be very interested in how it fares.

Gardenia fragrances have no gender.

Try Velvet Gardenia by Tom Ford (officially discontinued), Un Matin d'Orage by Annick Goutal and Priavet Collection Tuberose Gardenia by Estee Lauder.

I've got a sample of Fleurs de Gardenia from Creed. I know it's slated for woman, but I like it and have been wearing it around the house, the edge of feminine at the opening, but dry down very doable.

IIRC, the readily available Marc Jacobs for Men also has a gardenia note in addition to fig.

These three perfumes are ubermasculine with a gardenia not too dominant, but clearly present.
Now if you want one in which gardenia is more dominant, but still masculine, then try:

Most of the other recommendations are too feminine for my taste.

+1 for Z-14 although the gardenia is definitely in a supporting role.

The gardenias are in bloom down here all spring and half the summer. I'll often pick one, crush it slightly, and put it in my shirt pocket. SOTD. No bottled artifacts needed. By September, I've had my gardenia fix. The fragrance lasts for a few days.
