1000$ and 30 seconds to decide!

lets say you are at big perfume store, and suddenly you win a competition worth a 1000$ in fragrances, but you have only 30 seconds to name the fragrances you want or you will lose the money!!! which fragrances you will name ? ( to make this thread a success you must reply quickly with the first fragrances that came to mind)

CDG Dover Street
CDG 2 Man
Frederic Malle Bigarade Concentree
Frederic Malle Geranium Pour Monsieur

Yep...there you go.

Big flacon of Creed Aventus or Windsor (if they had it), than probably a bunch of 1oz bottles of my favorites till I hit the $1,000 mark
post #5 of 40
Creed Windsor
Minotaure
VC&A pour homme
VC&A Tsar
VC&A Midnight in Paris
Paco Rabanne pour homme
Salvador Dali pour Homme
One of each of 5 Richard James fragrances
Ungaro I, II and III
Micallef Oud
Micallef Jewel for him
Micallef Spicy for him
Micallef Style for him
Puig Sybaris
Puig Boston Man
Ralph Lauren Purple Label
Ralph Lauren Safari
Ajmal Shadow
Al Haramain Fakhrul Arab
Al-Rehab Naseem
Alain Delon Iquitos
One of each of every John Varvatos perfume

Probably I missed a couple I really want, but I stayed between the 30 secs time allowance.
And probably need more than just a thousand bucks LOL

Hard to say for me, since I don't know many fragrances yet. I guess I would pick stuff I figure I'd like:

Jardin d'Amalfi by Creed ($200?)
Noir de Noir by TF ($250)
Pure Malt by TM ($90)
Tobacco Vanille ($250)
Jubilation XXV ($290)

I'd pay the extra $80.

A huge stock of backup bottles of my favorite: Armani Eau pour Homme, maybe, if some money is left, something along the lines of Mouchoir de Monsieur, Dior's Escale a Portofino, Tuscany by Aramis etc.
Backups of these:

Portrait of a Lady
Giorgio for Men
Terre d'Hermès
Monsieur de Givenchy
Dia Man
Costume National Homme

... And a new bottle of this one:

Linfedele Haiku
LDDM
Oud wood and TV
Jubilation
Comme des garçon sequoia and man 2
Ramon monegal agar musk
That should be about a grand
Ambre Narguile
Vetiver Tonka
Eau de New York
New Haarlem
Cannabis Santal
Bigarade Concentree
Vie de Chateau Intense
Eau du Sud

That should just about cover $1000

Edit: I had no idea some of these were so pricey in the US! Make that the bottom 4 plus AN & EdNY

I can't think that fast. All I could think of was, "Go down my Basenotes wish list and keep buying what's available until I run out of money." Said really fast to get into thirty seconds, of course.

That would be:
Parfumerie Generale Bois Blond
Heeley Cadinal
Serge Lutens Chene
L'Artisan Parfumeur Dzing!
L'Artisan Parfumeur Dzongkha
Serge Lutens Fille en Aiguilles
Robert Piguet Fracas
Jo Malone French Lime Blossom

Not in priority order - if I had more time to think, there'd be more Lutens and Parfumerie Generales and I'd let the l'Artisans, Jo Malones, and Fracas wait a while longer.

Another Clive Christian No 1 Pure Parfum
Another large Creed
Lalfeogrigio or Lalfeorosa or Diaghilev. If the shop carries vintage stuff I'd go for Djedi or Guerlain's Cuir De Russie or Vega. I can spend $1000 in a nanosecond and I would probably still have to add the balance.
Aventus
GIT
Slumberhouse Pear+Olive (as if they'd have it... whatever)
A couple extra bottles of Burberry London (I wear the crap out of it)

And then I'd just start grabbing random bottles I'd never smelled. Might as well take the opportunity to discover new things!
Profumum Victrix & Ambre Aurea
Serge Lutens Miel de Bois
Slumberhouse Grev & Vikt

BOOM!

Cool scenario! For me, I think it would be:
Creed Aventus
Creed GIT
Chanel Sycomore
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille

I've never owned or even sampled any of these, but feel fairly confident I would like 'em. So that's how I would blow my $1000.. on the pricey ones I will probably never own otherwise
