Do you think it's legit?

According to the batch code, it's from 13 of September, 2010. (I know it doesn't say much but I hope it helps in any way)

Ok I am now declarating it legit. It strangely smells Pepsi over roasted almonds, how can someone create such an anomaly.

15ML of pure perfume, Chanel no.5? That is a very good find my friend. We are talking quality juice. Enjoy, I am sure that you will.

This is technically a few days ago, but I got some small (5mL) decants of Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford, Himalaya by Creed, and Original Vetiver by Creed.

I get lots of compliments on Tom of Finland. Not that that's the most important thing, but it's nice. (Although it can produce some awkwardness when people ask what the fragrance is called!)

Received it today. Love it. Rich, rosy, yet not too strong, very sophisticated sort of scent. Very nice. Curious what other perfumes in their star sign collection smells like. Maybe will order their 3ml discovery spray.

Slumberhouse Sova, in their annual 33% off sale.

This weekend only though, so if you've been thinking of springing for something you've sampled in their line (blind buys not advised) this is your chance.

Le Labo Rose 31 (thnx womo531), Paloma Picasso Minotaure, Giorgio for Men

Bought this one today. I love the minty clean feeling - I don't get a toothpaste vibe at all. This is one of those fragrances you can spray liberally and not worry about it becoming cloying. It lasts a long time too, which is surprising considering how light and fresh it is.

That is a GREAT price for that. Enjoy!

Just ordered a 125 ml bottle of Dior Mitzah today, after nursing my decant along for weeks.

Bought a tola of 'Royal Dark Musk' from the Arabian Oud store on Oxford Street. Its just wonderfully complex and way more refined than the now infamous Ajmal AA Musk Gazelle (1st and most definitely even more so from the 2nd batch). Its so wonderful on its own cant take wrist off my nose. Seems to go practically with anything interms of layering and just amplifies the layered fragrance that much more. Longetivity is outstanding and so is the silage. Its an animalic musk derived from the gazelle but the animalic nature is very much tamed and refined. Starts of with dark fruity liquirish, than intensly dark smoky flowers almost indolic then finally sweet leathery honey. The whole transition is very smooth and lacks any harshness one would expect from such dark musks.

Loving this already. Actually reminds me of something Amouage would make, only less complex. Don't pick up any oud though strangely enough.

This one has surprised me. Didn't care much for it after sampling on store a few times. Saw a bottle for sale online for £15 though and took a low risk gamble. After a full wearing, I have to say that I enjoyed it quite a bit. I don't own many fresh scents but this one is a keeper.

Broke my voluntary buying freeze with:

Most people ignore this one in favour of LIDGE, but I like this one quite a bit. It was a blind buy too.
Being that I too am on a buying freeze I decided to try something very cheap that I had read gets compared to LeMale...

Cuba Gold

Got it from Ross 6.99 for a 3.4oz...I couldn't pass it up. It was a blind buy and I must say I am very impressed with the "truck stop" fragrance. Lasted a very long time with a small half spray, could even get whiffs of it after a shower. My mom actually liked it, and when her and I went to eat at Olive Garden our waitress said one of you smell very good. Lol this was 2 mins after my half spray. So I will try tomorrow for a full wearing and see how it goes.

Oh yeah has some similarities to LeMale, yet this is a lot more toned down, and better imo.

I decided not to wait for Christmas and bought the current entire Jovoy Paris Line blind, of six scents (100ml each) available in the US (two haven't arrived on US shores yet) at an 30% discount from Henri Bendels with no tax and free shipping. Should receive them by the end of this week.

In the last week or so:

Full bottles of:

Hermes Osmanthe Yunnan

And a Serge Lutens Bell Jar frenzy...

La Myrrhe (half jar)

I AM DONE! This is what I saved up for and I can't really think of anything else I "need"....
(don't hold me to that statement, I'll deny I ever said it)

Now I play the wait for my packages game...

Shalimar (Parfum de Toilette) by Guerlain

This was a blind buy...sort of. I own vintage EdC, new Parfum and vintage Parfum, plus the Ode de la Vanille, but I have only smelled EdP not Parfum de Toilette, which signifies it is vintage. But my fellow Guerlain Fan Club Member rubegon has already pre-approved this one so I felt comfortable bidding on one on eBay, and I think I paid a fair price for it considering the supply of this stuff is quickly dwindling.
