I already had these three 'mixtapes' from The Weeknd, but now they've been given a full release and three 'unreleased' tracks have been added so I've been spinning these today along with all 3 album tracks, on shuffle.
Man, I remember the first time I spun this slab-o-vinyl. It was after a heavy night and I was just starting to get my head back together (I know, Jesu hardly seems like something chill enough to play during a hangover, but whatevs) and this sounded so immense and just right for the time; I opened the windows and just spaced out, smokin' and drinkin' coffee.

Dude, totally. Much luv for Psychocandy. I'm still kicking myself for missing them when they were in Vegas. I'm sure they're just a shadow of what the used to be, but sentimentality can work magic in the thinkulator.

Listened to that Jesu track when very sleepy the other day, it just works brilliantly when in a state like that. It can make not nodding a bit of a task though lol.
