Hi there
cincy - welcome to basenotes!

Lorenzo Villoresi
Teint de Neige is my absolute favorite powdery scent, so much so that I almost overdosed on it wearing it as a bedtime fragrance every single night. It's luxurious, elegant and beautiful grown-up face powder, and that's what I love so much about it ...the knee-jerk reaction might say "baby powder" but don't you believe it - this stuff is
not for babies. It is however smooth, snuggly and cuddly, but mostly it's gorgeous ...and powdery. The cream is also amazing.
Love, Chloé is very powdery, a bit sweeter than I normally like, I think due to the heliotrope, but very graceful and lovely, and again, for ladies - "powder" to me does not and should not mean "baby powder" (I've said this before but I don't like baby powder scents, so that would be a certain deal-breaker for me.)
Other powderies I like include
Shalimar Parfum Initial,
L'Heure Bleue, Chanel
No22, Lancome
Climat, L'Erbolario
Ambraliquida and
Iris (which is a
Teint de Neige smell-alike), L'Artisan
Safran Troublant, Rosine
Rose Kashmirie and
Poussière de Rose, classic
Oscar de la Renta and Keiko Mecheri
Loukhoum ...which oddly enough, I find more powdery than
Loukhoum Eau Poudrée, but that's powdery, too...so is
Loukhoum Parfum du Soir.
Mmmmm ...powdery.
