Search Function Broken

Hi,

I'm noticing that the search function is failing big time for me when performing an Advanced Search for the terms "Bulgari Black"...at least within the Swap subforum. It gives me all kinds of results that don't have EITHER of those words in it.

Here are the results if you type "Bulgari Black" into the white box above the words Advanced Search and hit return:

Why would I do that? I want results of "Bulgari Black" from only threads within the Swap subforum.

Sorry, I didn't notice that you only wanted to see threads in the swap forum.

So, go to the Swap forum, and in the grey banner that is above the green banner, to the right of "Forum Tools", you will see "Search Forum". Click on that to get the drop down menu.

In the box, type the one word that you think will get the fewest results-- if you type "Bulgari Black", it will find all posts (or threads) with either "Bulgari" or "Black", so better to choose just one word. I tried it with just the word "Bulgari" and got this:

Now, not all those will be what you are looking for, but I checked a few of those posts and found at least 3 with Bulgari Black in them, including yours.

But you may wish to check another forum, Fragrances Wanted, if you are looking to see if anyone is wanting your Bulgari Black. They may wish to swap rather than buy.

Your link doesn't work but the explanation helps. I still see that some of the results from just searching for "Bulgari" do not contain that word whatsoever, that's why I'm concerned.

OK seriously...I just searched "Guerlain L'instant" in the Swap forum...several of the results have NEITHER of those keywords within any part of the thread.

This problem is still occuring. Go to the Swap forum, type in "eau de rochas" and in the very first search entry....literally nothing in that thread contains ANY of those words. 30 Roses your "either or" assumption doesn't hold.

I went to the Swap forum and typed "Rochas" into the Search Forum field, and clicked for it to "Show posts".

Here is the search result. I've checked every listing back to 2008 and they all contain the word "Rochas".

This does not mean you will necessarily find "Eau de Rochas" from this search, but if it's there, the search should include it.
