TGIF again.
Hi Guys.

I left home this morning wearing Ferrari Oud. Then I went shopping, and I am now also wearing Chanel Sycomore and Dior eau Sauvage Parfum.

from a sample.

FBW......hmmmmmmm....possibly so, enjoying it right now!!! Definitely has more than the 3 notes (orange blossom, vetiver, and vanilla) that are said to be in it. I get possible honeysuckle as well as some coconut in this. I also get a little, small, tiny hint of the original Fahrenheit in the undertones (maybe that's psychological though).

Seems like a nice year round fragrance as well.

Reflection Man by Amouage

The Scoop
"The quintessence of masculine elegance, Reflection Man captures the seductive power of a man's inner strength. Edgy and classic, the composition juxtaposes coldness of citrus with the warmth of spices. Top notes of rosemary, red pepper and bitter orange leaves are chilly and bracing, a jolting breath of icy air in the midst of summer. The piquancy, which is apparent from the start, is rich and fiery, but never sharp, smoothed and softened by the presence of velvety orris and creamy ylang-ylang. Floral notes contribute to the sun-drenched, summery feel of the blend without compromising its undeniably masculine feel. The base of vetiver, patchouli and sandalwood, combined with the spices and orris, is dark, enveloping, and sensual. Virile and unexpectedly soft at the same time...a luxurious modern classic."

Reflection Man Notes
Rosemary, red pepper berries, bitter orange leaves, neroli, orris, jasmine, ylang ylang, vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood, cedarwood.

Bleu de Chanel

This is one I rarely wear. It's really not my style. I grabbed it on a fluke this morning. It's quite a hit today with the women in my office. 2 or 3 of them have asked me the name of the frag, so they can buy it for their husbands for Christmas.

I think I should get a commission.

Penhaligon's Sartorial. Works well for a cool autumn day, a busy Friday in the office. Fine stuff, highly recommended.

I'd forgotten how aggressive an Old Style "Big Fellow" can be (should've looked in the mirror), and how unforgiving a fresh DE blade. No; no nicks, scrapes, cuts, or irritation... just that heightened awareness of what might have been.

Blade: 1921 Gillette "Big Fellow" w/Israeli Personna blade
Brush: "John Bull" (Rooney Style 1 Size 1) in Super Badger
Suds: Cyril R. Salter French Vetiver
Scent: Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier Route du Vetiver EDT
