Hi everyone,
I am new to Basenotes not necessarily new to fragrance. I would like recommendations in the following four catagories. Floral, Oriental, Woody, and Citrus. I will list some hits and misses. Calvin Klein has never produced anything I like. I am not fond of Opium. Hits for me include Anais Anais, Donna Karans Cashmere Mist, Estee Lauder Youth Dew, Jo Malone Nutmeg and Ginger, Lime Basil Mandarin, Tuberose, Vetyver, Orange Blossom, and Grapefruit. I purchased French Lime Blossom a definite miss it reminded me of Mattel's Kiddle Kiddoes ,dolls that came inside their very own perfume bottles. In a word plastic. I enjoy Sake by Fresh. I was also fond of Nocturnes body lotion but not the eau du toilette. Today I purchased Prada's Infusion D'Iris and Gucci Premier. Other misses Poison, Angel, and Annick Goutal's Eau D'HADRIEN (I actually adored it) but my colleagues would always and I do mean always say "Who is spraying Lemon Pledge" or I smell Lemonade, not compliments in my book. Molinard's Habanita is a favorite I first purchased in France, along with something else. What else? Can't say because it remained in France as I made my way back to the states. Hope this offers some insight, looking forward to all your suggestions.
Thank you.
