Cologne that smells like apple pie?

Hi, I'm new here. I heard Carlos Santana for Men and Hugo boss 6 smells like apple pie. Any opinions on that matter would be greatly appreciated

Well, I've heard of two:

Boss Bottled by Hugo Boss (which you mentioned, so I'd say yes it does)
Ambre narguile by Hermes

+1 for Boss #6, also Dior Homme Intense

Indifférence for Men by Panouge

+1 for Hermès Ambre Narguilé

Another +1 for Ambre Narguile; apple pie with a pinch of cinnamon. Yum!

Yes, Hermes Ambre Narguile, I can't wear it but yep, an apple potpourri. Also, one you may want to sniff, Spice and Wood by Creed. A woody apple pie I guess, lol.

Dior Homme Intense doesn't smell anything like apple pie..unless you are eating some rank apple pies...just wanted to clarify that. It does smell great, though!

I own, and love Boss Bottled (one of my favorites, which is why I have 200ml's of it). Although it has an apple pie type feel to it, it doesn't quite smell like your typical cinnamony apple pie.

+1 Ambre Narguile...Apple Pie with caramel and vanila ice cream on the side.

YSL L'Homme

Hermès Ambre Narguilé is the only one in this thread that really resembles it.

It's great!

Hermès Ambre Narguilé, without doubt

So tempting, but I can't really afford $235 for a bottle of cologne. I'm thinking I'm probably just gonna get Boss Bottled. Has anyone ever tried Carlos santana and care to comment on it?

It's not a dead ringer for it, but Boss Bottled definitely gives me that "apple pie" vibe at times.

Definitely +1 for Ambre Narguilé.
I think you might enjoy L'artisan Parfumer Bois Farine too. It's a peanut butter in bottle!

I would suggest ordering/sampling 3 or 5 ml:
http://surrendertochance.com/hermess...mbre-narguile/

It will last you a long time since smelling like actual warm apple pie every day probably isn't something you'd want.

Adrem makes a good suggestion.

Purchasing a decant or branded sample can be a smart way to go with any fragrance as it allows you enough to use for special occasions and it may turn out that, while smelling like apple pie seemed like the perfect idea at the time, you'd rather not smell that way every single day.

Boss Bottled for every day and 5ml of "Ambre Narguile" (enough to wear about 10-12 times) for when you want to take it up a notch.

Hermes sells travel packs of 4 x 15ml bottles of the Hermessence line. You can usually find single 15ml bottles on ebay if you don't wanna fire down on the 100ml bottle.

Baldinini Man is a spicy apple scent which can smell a little like apple pie.

Yet another vote for Ambre Narguile.

Boss Bottled without a doubt!!!!

+1 for Ambre Narguilé.
Sorry, don't see the mentioned applepie similarity in Boss Bottled.

Shiny Beast is correct about the travel 15 ml sizes.
I picked one up on ebay for about $25. Or go in with someone a split a travel pack- it worked out to about $40 per 15 ml bottle when I did that at the BN Boston meetup with several other folks.

Boss Bottled.
