Morning! (Just!) Am I first here or have I missed another thread?

Anyway, the fizzog is of more normal proportions today. Working Mr Bean rather than the Grinch, which is progess.

Testing, testing. Miller Harris. L'Air de Rien on one hand, Feuilles de Tabac on the other. Like them both.

Take care all.

Good morning, nice smelling bunch.

Many of you know that I do not do Chergui (by choice). However, I do another brilliant sweet tobacco scent -- which puts me sorta close to healing Foustie with her "other" MH -- very much discontinuedGianni Campagne Vento Canale with the notes of Caribbean Rum, Clary Sage, Carrot Seeds, Davana;/ Cedar, Lily;/Curry Herb, Amber, Tobacco, Musk, Honey, Raspberry, Vanilla, Cocoa, Pine balm, Vetiver.

Have a nice day.

Glad to hear you're feeling better, Foustie.

Have a great day, everyone!

Hello everyone -

I'm in Rose Kashmirie this morning, and I frequently pair this with Safran Troublant, but I decided to go with something a bit spicier this time - Costes. And honestly, it's a lot like the duet of RK and SF, but spicier ...exactly what I was going for! It's a sultry, deeply spicy, velvety rose - I just love it.

Y'all have a wonderful day!

Oh, darn, Foustie, I guess you won't get to keep the facial swelling as long as I did after wisdom tooth surgery. Bet you're jealous! So glad to hear you're healing up well!

Finishing up the HdP sample pass today, in #3 Animale. This has been a real eye opener for me, can't wait to gather and post my thoughts after this last sample. Really can't recommend sampling these enough, whether you are a tuberose lover or hater. I've honestly never tried anything like these, just wonderful.

Switching to the amazing Fendi Theorema for the afternoon, love this one.

Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle..is that tuberose I am smelling? Oh nooo...lol..I get a big note of tuberose. I've worn this scent before..but now all I get is vanilla and tuberose...a green tuberose. Blech. Won't be getting a full bottle. lol. Like we could afford that right now anyway..lol.

Good Evening,

Jicky extrait tonight.

xx.
My goodness, everyone smells WONDERFUL today!! Foustie, I'm glad you're on the mend!

G, Jicky on top of the remnants of Fumerie Turque must be wonderful.

I woke up wanting something warm, sweet, and spicy rather than ambery. So I spritzed on Ava Luxe Madeline, and, oh my gosh, Evangeline, you're so right: CHAI TEA!

Luckily, I love chai and the smell of it, so it was perfect for today. So much so that I abondoned my usual vanilla latte at the coffee shop and had a chai latte instead. YUM!

And now, Madeline has settled in to a soft sweet cream phase, with a light musk peeping through every once in a while. I'm loving this -- I just wish I were home relaxing in this instead of at the office. This one's definitely a fall/winter/holiday kind of scent for me, but it certainly does it well.

I've switched to Agent Provocateur this afternoon, for another gorgeous, spicy rose.

ExtremeK - I'm glad you're enjoying your Madeline, and your chai latte ...it always makes me crave Vindaloo.

SotE after an after-work shower is Mystere. Seem like I'm in the mood for rather aldehydic scents these days.
