*EDIT AND THREAD TITLE CHANGE DUE TO PROBLEM BEING SOLVED *

I had a bunch of atomizers that just refused to spray that I purchased from Bestbottles, and I was very disappointed in their lack of a response to my problem, but the problem has been solved!

They called me and offered to take back the remaining atomizers that I have and refund the money

I am going to give them another chance and order a different type of atomizer, so I will come back with the review once I get them!

This is the first negative thing I've read about them.

What do you mean when you say the atomizers don't work-- they don't spray?

Have you tried phoning them?

The sample atomizer I have from Nordstrom is so stiff (and the bottle so tiny) that I have to press it with my thumb in order to spray it- but other than that it works great.

I was looking at a glass stopper bottle from them (they're the only place I've seen the one I really like) but not atomizers.

The ones I got must have been duds. I will have them replaced with a different kind and report back with my findings!

Kaelee: These are small too, but no amount of force will make them spray....

I'm just frustrated because I like to give people samples, and half the time they come back and say "it won't spray".

I would call and see what they say. I only use them for larger size bottles, and have not had any issues with the sprayers. The smaller size splits I do, where there is a smaller bottle, the sprayers do not spray as much as I would prefer compared to the larger bottles.

If you are using small vials, I would recommend

Their little bottles and sprayers are very good, although they are higher priced compared to Best Bottles.

Oh and that place has the little hummingbird bottle I was eyeing as well! I wonder if it's by the same maker? It's 2x the price of the one from Best Bottles but appears to be the exact same bottle.

It's possible. Best Bottles has a $50.00 minimum. They are more of what I would call a wholesaler, whereas Accessories In Fragrance is more of a retailer, so yes, you will pay more.

They are very nice people at Accessories in Fragrance, and they always send little gifts with you order, and smiley faces on the package.

I was surprised to read this as I've used many hundreds of the mini-atomisers from Best Bottles (3ml and 4ml sizes) and had only a tiny number give trouble (and then usually leaking which was probably my own fault).

I've also generally had good service from them, though email responses can be a bit touch-and-go depending on who is on duty.

Which specific bottle is giving you the problem?

Well the good news is they are finally taking back the atomizers that didn't work. Also, they have so many different kinds, it's very likely that the ones you purchased are different from the ones I did, so I wouldn't worry

Thanks for the advice. I did speak with them and it looks like everything has been solved. Sucks that I have to eat the shipping charge but I guess it could be worse.

Do you happen to know if any of the little sprayers bestbottles offers are good?

Gotcha.

I'm gonna give bestbottles another chance, but I'm definitely keeping accessories for fragrance in mind for future purchases because people really seem to love their products/service

I know this has been brought up before because I remember reading a thread on it here, but I'm having a hard time finding the Info I'm looking for. So, I apologize in advance for bringing this up again. I understand that most of you who decant you own fragrances or do splits, sell decants, etc. highly recommend accessoriesfrofragrance.com as a good source for atomizers, but I've also heard mention of bestbottles.com as well. BB prices are definitely better, but obviously you don't want to pay less then find out that the bottles leak or have inferior spray mechanisms.

Has anybody used BB atomizers and would you suggest I use them, or are there horror stories out there that I should be aware of? The price difference between Accessories For Fragrance and Best Bottles on the 50-60ml atomizer size is somewhat significant, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea, the only problem with bestbottles is their minimum order of $50...I've always ordered from accesoriesforfragrance and whoever the person running it is VERY nice, always extras included. I'd very much recommend them.

The bottom line is that no matter what company you buy from, what color, whether glass or plastic, they are made in huge bulk in China. I have tried many different companies, and occasionally find a dud, but for the most part if you snug them up well, they are all acceptable. Having said that, the ONLY atomizers that consistently give me problems are the ones CREED uses for their fragrances. After awhile, they squeak, and trickle little juice in spurts. I decant my Aventus into a cheep plastic atomizer b/c of this fact. The current bottle of GIT is ok so far, but the last one I had did the same crappy thing. I have also seen threads here about the problem.

They have good prices on small plastic atomizers without the $50 minimum order.

If you are interested in larger glass atomizers, a great source is Madina. They have 8ml and larger glass atomizers starting at less than $1 each, although you have to buy them by the dozen. They also have those nice 10ml metal purse atomizers with a glass bottle inside for $1. Also, no minimum order other than the 12pc minimum per style.

I had a bad experience with some bottles that I bought, but they offered to take them all back and replace them with different ones. So far the new ones perform much better. No complaints here, and the prices are definitely good.

I've bought from them and, as others have said, personally had no problem with their stuff.

BB has slightly better prices and bigger choice, but requires a minimum order. They don't sell pipettes, so those have to be purchased elsewhere, eg accessories.

THat's funny. The one thought that came to my mind a few times was that these couldn't leak any more than a Creed atomizer does!
