YSL M7 and Davidoff Zino Davidoff

Hello all,

This may be a strange request, maybe not, but I just received these two fragrances, both the vintage bottles, from a purchase I made online (e-bay, top rated seller). Now I've never smelled these before, and they certainly smell good, but I was wondering if there is anyone in my area (London, ish, Ontario, Canada), who would be able, and willing, to tell me if the juice inside these bottles is indeed the real stuff, and vintage, both for my piece of mind and feedback purposes.

Cheers, and thanks!

Danatru

Option B would be to put some in a little atomizer and ship it to somebody

Might help if you can post pictures of the bottle and the package. I'm sure there are some nerdy nerds on the board that can tell from looking only at that.

And you'd save and time expense too.

I guess I can do that later tonight, although I did do some research before buying, the m7 has the amber sides and the 4 ingredients on the back of the box, and the Davidoff has the cursive writing, not the block letters. I'm more cautious about the juice inside, but yes I will post pictures when I get a chance.

I would doubt that anyone would fake these bottles. They're just not famous and popular enough, and not valuable enough, to warrant the trouble of knocking them off imo.

There is still a lot of old stock Zino floating around for sure.

+1. I'm sure they're legit. I'm familiar with both of these scents, and i'm located in Ontario. If you want some peace of mind PM me.

Here are they images. Judging from your feedback, I'm thinking I've just been a little paranoid!

As I've said before, we weren't there when the bottles were filled so we can't say for sure. We can say that in our experience they look like the original versions.

I'm not so sure about that vintage M7. You should probably mail me the bottle so I can wear it for a few months and validate it's authenticity.

+2 These never have been faked to my knowledge. How do they smell? If they smell good and last, then don't worry that much as that's all that matters.
Is that Zino the vintage 75ml? Looks like a small bottle! Good purchases anyway!!

They do both smell good, i can still smell the m7 on my wrist 14 hours after having applied it.It is a 50ml and the zino is actually a 30ml, i went easy on the amounts because they were blind buys, and I wanted to get them before they disappeared entirely. I love the m7 and the Zino is good too, but I think the Zino is somewhat an older smell (I'm 24).

And thanks!

They look like vintage and authentic to me. Enjoy and don't over spray!

If the bottle has one amber side and the rest clear glass, then its the last version prior to the current M7 Oud Absolu reformulation. If it has all amber sides, then it's the vintage prior to that. Either way, it looks like it's genuine.

Thanks guys

Also bought a sample of PH with that order...everyone seems to love it, but I can't really get myself to like it. Maybe I need to wear it a few more times though. I absolutely didn't like A*Men...maybe I just don't like gourmands? Not sure if I've tried any other gourmands, not even really sure what makes a fragrance a gourmand....lol

Oh..I don't have a huge sweet tooth, maybe that explains it. Smelling like chocolate all day doesn't really appeal to me. I wanted to like A*men and PH based on all the positive reviews (especially the latter), but I guess they're not for me, give me m7 or Kouros anyday.
