I just wanted to poll the number of gentlmen that do or don't wear L'Heure Bleu because I was reading the reviews on it and a lot were from men.

No.

Bumping this! We need more men who will answer this one way or another!! This herbal/floral classic is great for both sexes and a relative of the venerable Apres L'Ondee.

Of course! Vintage EdC is the best, closely followed by vintage PdT and then Parfum. I do not like the EdT at all.

I wish I had some extrait.
I only have edt and I wear it occasionally - very rarely in fact. But I love to smell it. It turns me into a melancholic romantic.

I bought 5 ml sample and to broaden my horizons . Very nice but would not wear it not my cup of tea but a classic

I recommend EDP or Parfum, unless you can locate the sort of vintages that mike mentions.

Like hirch says, it is a mood thing - I probably wear it about as often (seldom, actually) as Patou Pour Homme. Some music you just have to sit down and really listen to - and quite often it's a purely personal experience.

Yes I do and I love it!

I don't wear this. Not because it's a feminine, but because I don't enjoy it.

I wear a large sample of the EdP I got about six months ago. It's a very, very elegant perfume but it's low on my list of purchases.

When I wear it it's usually the vintage edp or vintage parfum on the back of my hand when I'm in bed. My girlfriend doesn't like it but it smells phenomenal on her.

Is there a better perfume? Maybe Mitsouko, but if you want to smell beauty in a perfume then it's probably vintage L'Heure Bleue.

I really can't stand this one for some reason. So stale smelling!

It smells amazing..... on a woman.

Absolutely, yes.
Managed to hoard a reasonable amount of older extrait, but I'll be disconsolate once it is gone.

I've tried a sample of it and did find the opening too feminine. I did like the (late) dry down, but it certainly wasn't enough to make it bottle worthy for me. There are better alternatives, IMO, if you're into powdery scents.

Exactly! It has gotten a very personal fragrance, so I hardly wear it out anymore. The Extrait used to get me compliments from women and I know women who find it too harsh on themselves. Spraying the vintage EdP is instant bonding and pure bliss. Yes, probably the most beautiful perfume ever.

No, but if local fragrance stores would retail it, I might consider.

Yes. Smells amazing on me.
