suggest designer frags

My local Macy's is having a fragrance department event tonight and I have tickets. Recommend frags Macy's would carry for me to try/buy. Women's frags too, cause the wife is in tow.

Will not be buying: a*men, 1 million, gucci by gucci, vince camuto, le male, DH, and I already have l'homme. No.5, shalimar, orientals in general wife hates.
For wife any good noirs?
For me I will try everything

Get a bottle of GPH II...that's the only thing I can think of, worth purchasing at the moment.

GPH2 isnt at my macys. ill ask to see if it is behind the counter. Penguin original was nice. I think my wife will like mont blanc legend on me, and its growing on me, too.
I already like fahrenheit, jack, and will probably order a bottle before too long..

Legend is nice, I'm wearing it today. It's not worth retail price, though. Get it off ebay. I bought mine at Dillard's and I really wish I had waited...you can save about $20 on ebay. Penguin is just OK, I gave it to my son. Get a big fat bottle of Bleu de Chanel!

GPH II and Bulgari Black probably won't be on the shelves, but are available for them to order and have it shipped to your home for free. The same goes for Cartier frags.
+1 on Play, the Prada's for you both, if your wife doesn't like orientals have her look at Infusion d'Iris and the original Issey Miyaki. I know it's a stretch, but have her try the Angel Fragrance of Leather it's very nice and ppl who don't like Angel find it much more appealing.
For you try the Code Ultimate, Varvatos line (except Star USA), Hanae Mori HiM (make sure you try both the edt and edp, they should have both testers, but probably don't realize the difference), Bulgari Man if they have it, Bleu de Chanel and Allure...Extreme and if you haven't already, La Nuit d'Lomme

Man it sure is a small Macy's. They didn't have much. I will probably buy the john varatos. Play and nuit were too sweet for my wife. They only had prada for her. She doesn't like allure...I know..
I learned I must move on from my local macys

Ugh, that sucks! Did they at least have any goodies for you? I've been a part of many of these events and some can be very interesting depending on what designers are sponsoring the event.
