Mont Blanc Legend

When I look through men's magazines, usually I skip to the cologne samples. Most of the time, the samples bore me or appall me, but Mont Blanc Legend was one of the ones that impressed me.

As a lot of people said, it does smell like Abercrombie Fierce, very similar. In fact, from a distance, I could probably be convinced that they are identical. But it is darker, smoother and more sophisticated, for a more adult audience.

I think it makes Fierce obsolete. One, the bottle design is much better (Fierce has to be literally the worst bottle that I have ever seen in my lifetime). Second, there is no association with the Abercrombie store and it's easier to deal with people who are asking what you are wearing. On fragrancenet, this is $30 for a 1.7 oz and $50 for the 3.4 oz. So, it is more affordable (and an overall better value).

Haven't tried Fierce, but am a big fan of Legend. One of those scents that I didn't care for the first time I tried it...didn't mind it the second time...kind of liked it the third...bought it after the fourth wear...and I just keep liking it more with every wear. I like it best in warmer weather, but I've tried it a couple times as it's cooled down, and it still holds its own. I'll add this: while I like the aftershave balm, the shower gel is a waste.

The reps at Macy's have been trying to push this stuff onto me for the past week.
I told them that I just purchased a bottle...guess I'll go back and give it a shot. Although, I doubt I would like it more than fierce.
