Is There a Difference in Scent in L'heure Bleue EDT and EDP?

I wanted to know if any of the notes in in the EDT came out compared to the EDP. I would be wearing the EDT year round. Obviously there is going to be a shorter longevity and what about the sillage? Should I hold out for the EDP or is the EDT OK?

Kind Regards,

Robbie

The edt is fine, but I love the depth and intense heliotrope of the edp(not sure is Guerlain have toned it down now?).

You should know that Guerlain reformulated L'Heure Bleue recently. To my nose when quickly sampling the current EdP in Paris last April it seemed that (part of) the florals were replaced by synthetics, which made it sharp. L'Heure Bleue is all about the floral harmony, the heliotrope note in particular, to me, which I find presented best in the EdP. Vintage (brown) jus on ebay (EdT and Extrait) tend to bring the base to the foreground as floral notes are vulnerable and less longlived. I'd try to find a slighltly used EdP from a perfumista, which is a few to a couple of years old (check batch code on bottle bottom by using cosmeticswizard.net).
